Dr. Smith performed two different shoulder surgeries on my 15 year old son and he was amazing with him both times. Took his time explaining everything to us. Dr. Smith and his staff are very helpful, efficient and kind. Dr. Smith was recommended to us by a friend and I would highly recommend him no as well.

Performed surgery for broken wrist & fractured elbow. Plate surgery required for wrist and after two months of healing the wrist movement is very good, no pain and remarkably the scare from surgery is barely noticeable. Dr provided guidance and monitoring to be sure healing and movement for both wrist and elbow is returning back to normal ranges.

Excellent medical practice with excellent care and expertise with the hip and knee issues.

I have been going to Woodlands Sports Medicine for years, have been treated by three great doctors. Dr Smith was the fourth after doctor treating my knee retired. When having my knee replaced it was discovered the parts of the replacement didn’t fit together properly, my knee was left open while I was under anesthesia while the right replacement parts were obtained from other locations! I had 3 hematoma come to the surface after surgery the knee stayed swollen and painful for about a year. This being my second knee replacement I was very upset and displeased. After the first knee replacement with another doctor, I was done with rehab at 6 weeks and back doing Pilates and riding my horses. I still have pain and lack of range of motion in my Dr. Smith knee. I would never recommend DR. Kevin Smith to anyone.

Dr. Smith explained what the surgery entailed to remove the damage incurred over the years. He did a great job and made sure I would get the proper therapy in order for me to return to normal. I am so thankful to have had Dr. Smith as my surgeon and will highly recommend him to anyone.

I had two prior surgeries on my right knee after an accident five years ago. As the years passed the pain became unbearable. This pain is what led me to The Woodlands Sports Medicine Center where I was introduced to my doctor, Kevin Smith. After Dr. Smith examined my MRI, we discussed the next plan of action .. which would be surgery. During surgery, Dr. Smith soon realized that the damage inside my knee was much more extensive than the MRI revealed. He was presented with a couple different routes to take for the repair of my knee. Once the procedure was done Dr. Smith explained to me how the surgery went and exactly what my next steps would be with my physical therapy and recovery time. The staff at The Woodlands Sports Medicine Center were wonderful. They followed up after my procedure and they care. Dr. Smith’s bedside manner is exceptional. He was thorough in his appointments, and listened carefully to what I said when trying to explain the pain. I would recommend this facility and

In July 2019 i was involved in a hit and run accident while i was on my motorcycle. Not knowing if I would be able to keep my leg or not, Dr. Smith performed my surgery. 5 months later I can walk without any assistance. As my leg in still undergoing reconstruction I can honestly say that Dr. Smith has done a tremendous job with my leg. I have no pain and will able to live life normally. Thank you so much to Dr. Smith and his wonderful staff. My family and I can honestly say that we are very thankful for your services.

That stuck out more than anything. Dr. Smith made decisions once we were in the middle of surgery to repair my knee and prevent the early onset of arthritis. When we later spoke and he explained what he did, he told me that he operated the way that he would hope someone would operate on him. It took him more time and didn't benefit him at all, but I'm thankful, because it benefited me and my quality of life.
