Went in for a surgical procedure for my husband at Southern Hills Hospital. It was my first time waiting for a loved one going into surgery. Dr. Kevin Rayls explained the procedure prior and then came out to see me in Surgery Waiting to assure me everything went well post procedure. Dr. Rayls is very personable, kind, and professional. Highly recommended.

Dr. Rayls saved my wife's life. He also performed procedures on my father-in-law. I am about to schedule an appointment with him to correct a post surgical hernia. Our first meeting with Dr. Rayls was over 30 years ago and I consider him a family member. HE'S GREAT!

Smug doctor, he had a poor ability to talk about my condition. Very disappointed. Went to two other general surgeons, and reinforced what I experienced.

I went in for an umbilical hernia. During my initial consultation I asked a lot of questions about the mesh because it was something that was of concern to me. Dr. Rayl's seemed annoyed by my questions and very arrogant. I scheduled the surgery anyway because of time constraints with insurance. Recovery was much harder than expected. When I went in for the follow up appointment he was very defensive and rude. You'd think he would assure me, knowing I was apprehensive of the surgery but he didn't

I have had a Kidney Transplant@ UCLA, Back Surgery@UCSF, Hernia Repair UCLA, Dialysis Cath UCLA and had been told don't do any surgery in Vegas when I moved here 3 years ago..... I had a Hernia Repair done at the end of August 2017 with Dr. Kevin Rayls..... Very professional and gets the job done with no non sense... I would not hesitate using him again for any other general surgery's in the future. He had come recommended to me by Dr. Kristian Kinell and a friend of mine who is a ICU Nurse.

I am fortunate to have numerous options when selecting a physician/surgeon. Thus, I considered going UCLA, Stanford or Baptist Hospital in Houston with their remarkable surgeon staffs. Instead I selected Dr. Rayls and Southern Hills Hospital for my procedure - I was not disappointed - his professionalism, knowledge,education, and practice history were all excellent; and, his performance was a true measure of his credits. I cannot recommend him more strongly.

Dr. Rayls and staff (Jessica) are the greatest. Dr. Rayls is laid back and willing to talk on a level that is very positive and easy to understand. His office staff (Jessica) tends to pre-op and post-op details with speed and efficiency. She went to bat for me by repeatedly contacting my family doctor for records when there was a slight delay in obtaining the proper clearance for my surgery. Due to her diligence my surgery was performed as scheduled.

After being directed to the exam room, Dr. Rayls entered within 5 minutes, which so surprised me as I was expecting to wait at least 15 minutes. He was gracious and his demeanor was pleasant, he sat down was not in a rush, made me feel like I was very important. After looking at the thumb (cyst-like bump) he thoroughly explained what options were available. I would highly recommend Dr. Rayls and would trust him to operate on me if needed.

Dr. Rayls is incredible!! He takes his time with you, explains everything, is kind and caring and an outstanding surgeon. He makes you feel like he really cares about you and you know that your surgery experience with him will be excellent and successful. He is warm, outgoing and has an unbelievable bed side manner. Dr. Rayls is a role model of how all doctors should be with their patients.!!

He's amazing! I love him! He cut out my breast cancer with minimal scaring. I totally recommend him for any surgery! Great bedside manners! You're in great hands... ?

He answered all my questions and was very patient with me. He performed a hernia surgery and I am happy that I had the surgery. He was recommended to me by a friend and I will certainly recommend him to others.

Dr. Rayls has been my surgeon twice both in life threatening situations. I couldn't have asked for a better surgeon or receive better care. He was informative, thorough and has a terrific bedside manner. I would recommend him highly .

This was the first sugary that I ever had and I have a fear of things like that and he made everything very easy and made me feel confident in the process. That and he is totally chill.
