I don't know who was more excited for my twins: me or Dr. Madsen. When I first gound out about my pregnancy and had my initial appointment he took so much time answering my questions and hyping up my pregnancy. Each visit was consistently informative and his bedside manner was positive but always rooted in realism. When I was 34 weeks I went into early labor and was put on bedrest to try to stay pregnant and not deliver too soon. I felt super scared and very anxious. At my appointment to follow up, Dr. Madsen took so much care in clarifying that it wasn't my fault, that my body was doing something incredible ... he even called me 'wonder woman.' I know it sounds so silly, but I was really mentally and emotionally fragile at the time and I will always remember how kind and compassionate Dr. Madsen was, especially in an uncertain and scary time of my pregnancy. It's those little moments that add up.

Dr. Madsen followed 2 of my pregnancies, he has the perfect personality for working with High Risk mothers and families. In stressful circumstances with nervous patients, he has an ability to explain, reassure and encourage that is his gift to medicine. Aside from that his clinical skill are excellent as well, I am an OB nurse with 15 years experience so I don't give compliments easy, but for this doctor I can!

I would definitely agree with previous reviews. Dr. Madsen could be a perfect sample for a  physician's behavioral model for medical students at Universities and, even for some physicians. He has a talent for listening to EVERY question from a patient's side and knowledge and patience with answering to EVERY question in details. He explains even dramatic things in a soft manner, by considering that a patient is a human being not just a patient. I rate Dr. Madsen with 5 GOLDEN STARS . Thank You.

Dr. Madsen is phenomenal. We saw him with our first 2 kids and after a less than stellar experience with another MFM with our 3rd, we sought him out specifically. His ability to connect with patients is amazing. Knowing our history and the losses we had been through, he spent so much time with us developing a monitoring plan and explaining the rationale for the plan. He obviously genuinely cares for his patients. He is exactly what all physicians should strive to be.
