Dr. Kevin Karpowicz, MD

Besides my family and teachers doctor karpowicz was the most instrumental person in my life and my childrens. As a 17 yr old mother of a newborn with down syndrome our lives could have went so many ways. Because of you and the way you treated people as equals, the way you spoke to people and cared for people from all walks of life i never felt for a second that i was at disadvantage in life. In fact the opposite i found a treasure! A friend! Because of you i never for a second thought i could fail life or my child. Because you look at me and spoke to me i never allowed any one to look down at me or talk down to me. Because you told me that my daughter could do anything she wanted or become anything she wanted to i never allowed anyone else to limit her ability to become less then she wanted to be or do. Because of you I learned unconditional love without judgement. Because you were my greatest cheerleader I learned to be my children’s greatest cheerleader. You are my greatest champion!

Dr Karpowicz was an amazing Dr. He was my son and daughters Dr until he retired in 2009. His staff was also great. Ms Pam the PA and Dr Stevens (don't know how to spell his name) were just as amazing, at first were a little skeptical when we couldn't see Dr. Karpowicz, but they were amazing as well. We hated to seem him retire and move out of state. My children loved him and never complained about going to the Doctors. If my children who are now 32 and 27 could still have him as their doctor I am sure they would.

He was my doctor growing up I couldn't ask for a better doctor I loved him it was sad to see him go he was the one who found out I was preg with my daughter..I miss him too death...you all have the best doctor you could ever ask for..

Dr. Karpowicz was my pediatrician in the 90’s and he was amazing. Professional, very calm and kind. Too bad he relocated or I’d have my own children go to him!

Dr. Karpowicz got me through childhood in Schenectady, and I am thrilled to see him continuing to build upon a legacy of great care. As a child in the 1990s in Schenectady, he was always compassionate towards me, and I am grateful for the phenomenal care I consistently received from him. He was always friendly and could make you feel as if everything was completely ok even when sick. He is professional, amazing with children, and visiting his office ranks as one of my top childhood memories.

Dr Karpowicz was my son's pediatrician for just about 20 years. He was also my niece's and nephews and my great nieces and nephews pediatrician. There aren't enough stars to rate how amazing he is. I'm very sad he relocated and he's not my grandbaby's pediatrician! I wish he was still here but I'm happy he moved on to something he wanted. He's a brilliant doctor and an great man!
