Horrible Front Desk Staff
I ignored the long wait and unfriendly front desk staff because I have been in pain so long. The radiologist saw that I had shoulder subluxations and a labral tear. The MA was quite nice and the doctor seemed genuinely attentive and concerned. He said that we needed an MRI so that we could move forward, and that I should contact his office as soon as I received the approval so that he could see me asap. I was so relieved that when Adventist asked for a review I left 5 stars. However, the request was denied because nothing about my condition was sent with the request. I called the office and was told that they were on top of it. I called again after hearing nothing and I was told that someone would call me the next day. Fast forward one month and I receive a final denial stating that the information was never submitted. Why did I drive all that way and wait in pain for months? What kind of office treats their patients this way? Don’t go here.

I had pretty bad knee pain. Dr. Hilton used injections in each knee. I have been knee pain free for three months. It was worth it. He is easy to talk with. Explains things well.

We saw the physicians assistant who scheduled an MRI. A week later we contacted the office to find out results and were told we had a two week wait until we could see this same individual and the doctor would not see us since we were first seen by the physicians assistant. The girl who answered the phone (I believe her name was Elizabeth) was totally unsympathetic when I told her my husband was in a lot of pain and we wanted to resolve this issue. We picked up the MRI disc and report and had an appointment in three days with another orthopedic surgeon.

Dr. Hilton gave me his undivided attention. He was cheerful and friendly and I trust him to take the best care of me. He graduated from the University of Kansas where my dad who was an M.D. and my mom who met at the that school also both graduated. I'm looking forward to the next time I see Dr. Hilton.

First visit we had a 2.5 hour wait before seeing the dr. Second visit, we had first appointment of the day. Waited one hour to find out Dr was not in the office and we needed to reschedule for the following week.

Staff not very helpful. Gave appointment when dr was on vacation. 2 appointments in 2 months. Took my ct scan xray and the front desk said we need xray i said this is printed xray films the mri place gave me. They were the ones that sent me for a ct scan and they should advice the immaging place what and it should be printed. Not very caring place. Dr only reads reports of imaging place maybe he doesnt have any knowledge of his own. Very frustrated i am.

He is always busy makes you feel like you are taking away his valuable time. I think i'm valuable too, so did not like he looks like so positive, but do not give any satisfactory answer.

I have had one surgery performed by Dr. Hilton and am going to have another surgery (different knee). I find him to be very knowledgeable, concerned for his patient and a quick study to get straight to the issue/injury options and solution. He is thorough and easy to talk to...and he listens to patient concerns and gives direct answers that are easily understood. Both his bedside manner (uncommon in orthopaedics in my opinion) and aftercare are great. Happy to have him in Lodi!

Dr. Hilton took me on an emergency surgery basis when my former orthopedist was too busy to see me. He did an excellent job with repairing my compound ankle fracture. He has also provided outstanding follow-up care. I like that he listens to me, and makes sure I understand what is going on with my ankle.
