Shoulder problems.
Came in for a second opinion from my workers comp on my shoulder and from the get go, instead of asking me what my symptoms are or touching me and examine me he goes straight to attacking me with arrogant responses. Not once did he care to see how i felt, he insisted that i didn’t need surgery which is fine. He then proceeded to say that i was wasting his time and that he had no idea why i was seeing him for what my images shown. I had tendinosis in the supra and infraspinatus in the shoulder. He said with rest it would go away, i did therapy and got injections before i saw him and i haven’t gotten better- his response would be nothing i can do. Doesn’t offer any help, any recommendations, any therapy or mri just simply rude and arrogant responses. Definitely do not recommend.

Terrible Treatment Recommendation
I went in for a second opinion about shoulder surgery. I have a torn biceps tendon, as shown on MRI. Have had shoulder pain for 18 months, did 6 months of physical therapy (and have continued daily physical therapy at home), and a steroid shot, but the pain and range of motion only got worse. Dr. Hargrove said that he thought my neck was the issue and ordered another MRI. Seemed unconcerned by the torn biceps tendon with subluxation and said if it ruptured that my bicep would just retract towards my elbow, but won't be a big deal or hurt. After the results of the MRI showed no issues with my neck, he recommended more physical therapy. Based on conversations with two other orthopedic surgeons and a radiologist, a torn biceps tendon with subluxation cannot be fixed with more physical therapy and a ruptured biceps tendon would be very painful and a more involved surgery than repairing it while it is still partially intact.

R/Shoulder Surgery 2020
I still don’t believe my surgery was completed . Arm felt as if it were in two separate pieces. Could not get pain meds, Sent me to therapy, was excruciating, Most of the time all they could do is try to help with the pain. He wouldn’t listen. Released me early. Told my husband and I he fixed what he was suppose to. Very arrogantly and walked out of the room. Could not get in contact with him any more. Treatment might have been better if I had been a private pay patient Had to have it redone in 2021 by a different surgeon .

Araseliea she is the best Assistant a doctors office can ever have as an employee and Dr. Hargrove were both awesome. They were informative about the entire surgery. I underwent an torn ACL and meniscus surgery. I feel great after 3weeks and still have some ways to go. The entire staff were welcoming, confronting, and Amazing.

I came from Oregon to have my knee surgery based on recommendations from my PCP. I was sent to see Dr.Hargrove for pre-op appointment and I found him and his staff very pleasant. Dr. Hargrove did an excellent job on my knee and I was able to recouperate without pain meds. He listened and answered any questions or concerns that I had. I would recommend him to anyone needing any orthopedic care.

I went to see Dr. H for a rotator's cuff. He did outstanding work and recommended a PT person who was outstanding. He does have a very dry sense of humor that may take awhile getting used to. However, you go to a surgeon to repair an injury and I am very pleased with his work.

Does not explain procedure fully. Had to be asked to speak with my husband before surgery and did not speak to either my husband or myself following surgery. I had to ask specific questions in order to get any information from him. Lastly, I had been getting injections in my knee and asked if I would require an arthroscopy. If so, I preferred to get the procedure done before the end of the year for insurance reasons. At follow up appointment he indicated I wanted the surgery. Condescending

This guy is an arrogant fool, wrote a script for pain pills that doesn't exist, went all eve and night and next afternoon in pain, had to make another appointment (more money of course) and he puts a hard cast on my ankle felt like something was wrong went to a real professional next day and the new doctors could not believe he put a cast on me, but you better believe his office charged my insurance and sent me a bill! The only thing this guy has is where his office is located. Unprofessional!!
