Didn't Even Try To Help Me
My wife had a surgery at Riverton hospital and I had to take off work to drive her to and from her appointment. I decided to take advantage of a day off and make an appointment with Dr. Gilbert (to address my snoring) since he was in the same building. All he did was look down my throat with a flash light, tell me my tonsils looked fine, and then refer me to another doctor that could perform a sleep test. I was frustrated that none of this was explained before I made my appointment because it meant I needed to take MORE work off, but I accepted that "that's life" and when about my week. I just received a bill for $279!!! and apparently it is because I had a level 4 office visit?? I am not sure what qualifies a level 4 appointment but if it is 5 minutes with a flashlight, I feel that is beyond unfair. All Dr. Gilbert wants in my opinion is money. Maybe he used to care about his profession, but it is obvious he would rather refer people elsewhere than do any actual work.

Not thorough in the least bit; will just refer you
Honestly I am not sure how much I can blame anyone other than myself. I went to Dr. Gilbert (after being referred by the dermatologist in the same building) for a cyst on my nose. He literally glanced at my face and suggested I see a plastic surgeon. I then got a bill for a couple of hundred dollars but since I only had to pay the $50 co-pay I decided to let it go. However, a couple months later my husband had a similar experience. I am very disappointed and we will not be returning.

Dr. Gilbert was very accommodating for any questions that I had. He was willing to take the time to listen to me. He made sure I understood what my pain and recovery would be. He knows how to communicate with the non-medical patient in a non-condescending way. I would recommend Dr. Gilbert to any of my friends or family.

Dr. Kevin Gilbert is The Best Doctor I have every been to! I really appreciate how he listens to your concerns and then he takes the time to explain what is happening physically and why. I am a mess with scopes and he made me feel at ease before he would even begin. He just made me feel so comfortable that it would be ok. And...it was! So kind, personable, and honest. Even called to check on me during my 9 day infection. I would recommend him to anyone needing a ENT! He is the BEST
