Had great experience,the best part was the friendly staff, Virtually know pain ??

I had a visit today 3-14-24 and it will probably be my last because the way I was talked too is mortifying. I simply asked when I might be called back and Ashlee who I didn't even direct the question too, pipes up and talks to me like a 12 year old. Uumm the nurses just left for lunch and they are entitled to a 30 minute break, so you will go back when they come back. I didn't appreciate the condescending tone. Dr. Gaffney you are wonderful, but you need to eliminate that miserable rotten human from your practice. She makes you look bad.

When I scheduled my appointment, was told the first appointment after their lunch hour was 12:45, so I took it. After waiting 25 minutes without being called back to room I asked receptionist what the hold up was as no one in their very full waiting room was being called back, she said the nurses were not yet back from lunch, their morning ran long so they took a later lunch. I waited 10 more minutes then left. If an office can’t figure out how to stagger lunch times, can they really help with medical issues????

I went in full of anxiety and the woman that checked me in, (Laura), was so kind and understanding. She was able to calm me down and made me feel more comfortable! It was such a good experience and the Dr was patient with me as well! Thank you sweet Laura for restoring my faith in people!!

Front desk staff was dismissive and abrupt with patients while complaining to each other about work conditions (ex: I'm not a robot! ) Woman who did my biopsy didn't introduce herself, didn't explain what she was doing and I don't know if she was a nurse, tech, or what. Dr Gaffney was wonderful so I definitely trust him and will return, but it's too bad his patients have to experience such negativity before they even see him.

The office staff is not very well versed in health insurance.

I had a long time struggling with an uncontrollable rash all over my body. After Dr. Gaffney diagnosed and prescribed for me, my problem was solved only less than a week. He is a professional and confident great doctor. His nurses are pleasant to me, too. I highly recommend him!

In the past I do agree the wait times were crazy however he has always been worth the wait. He’s extremely knowledgeable and his nurse practitioner is also extremely knowledgeable. I really appreciate that they take time to explain what is going on and how to use my medicine. They are the best in the area 100%!

Perfection! Dr. Gaffney removed a Basel cell lesion from my face. Surgery went as planned and on time. 6 stitches and two weeks later you can barely see the inch long cut. Staff was great and efficient. I highly recommend Dr. Gaffney and his team.

Dr Gaffney gave me my life back!!! I suffered from Palmer planter psoriasis and psoriasis of the scalp and other areas. I was 90% clear for about a year, until now. Now I'm having a flare but do to the virus im out of my meds. I know I need an appointment because it's been a year since I was last seen. I've always been treated very well by staff. Love my dermatologist clinic/office and staff.

I needed moles looked at on my back. Dr. Gaffney and another man were in the office to see me. When I told them that I needed the moles looked at, they simply said okay. I didn’t know what to do next. I asked if I should take my shirt off, or what I should do. They said I could do whatever I wanted to do. I was confused and humiliated. How were they supposed to see my back? Where was a cover-up gown? I finally decided to just lift up the back of my shirt a little. Not sure how they even saw all of the moles on my back by my doing just that. This was so unprofessional. I will never go back.

Dr. Gaffney is a very good doctor and so is his medical staff but the two ladies at the front desk ,the two brunettes can be very rude! they will not greet you talking about recipes and everything in between. wait until your seated and then call you up for your ID even though I have been going there over 10 years! They make the experience less than pleasant for me!

My only problem is they over book appointments. My waiting time today was 1 hr and 15 min. Then another 15 min for him to see me and 5 min in the room.

Dr. Gaffney is a highly talented physician. He is a clearing doctor puts the patient first. He very thorough in his evaluations. He is calm and reassuring.

Dr. Gaffney and his office staff are the most personal, pleasant, and professional medical individuals in their specialty I have found in my life time. Having visited doctor offices in many different communities, I applaud not being looked upon as a number or just a piece of flesh. I have absolute faith in their care for my health. They answer every question I have in terms I understand. They are never pompous or pretentious. They are never condescending. Kudos to Dr. Gaffney and his staff.

Dr. Gaffney is a kind caring professional physician. He is able to explain the diagnosis in in a manner that everyone can understand. He makes an extra effort to insure that you are comfortable with the treatment and the procedure. Highly recommended!!

I have been to various doctors over the years, but none compare to Dr. Gaffney. He is extremely thorough, precise, and informative. His compassion is evident. He is WORTH every minute of wait time. Highly recommend!!

I’m a teen, I’ve been to the office a few times and felt very comfortable. recommend. It’s definitely worth the wait.
