How often do you see something positive with reviews? Not much. Anyway, I am pleased with Dr. Dunsky as he not only sees my medical issues, but he always asks about my stress/family issues when I have an appt. I travel 2 hours from out of state to see this cardiologist and will continue to do so. I also enjoy the laughter we share. Thank you, Dr. Dunsky, for saving my life once again.

I had appointments with Dr Dunsky on four occasions. I found him to be totally dismissive. He never went over my stress test with me or explained the results. All he did was change my hypertensive meds each time I saw him. He always appeared rushed, apologizing for the wait time in the office. He may have impressive credentials, but no bedside manner. I am a retired RN with over 40 years experience, and he is not the doctor to go to when there are so many good doctor out there. Also, with the care at Mt. Sinai , he is the only doctor that does not put results on my chart. Stay away.

During my visit, Dr. Dunsky occupied himself several times with his phone, yet told me to "keep talking." He appeared completely uninterested in having me as a patient. He appears to be a "minimalist" and will not do routine tests unless he sees a reason -- like some event occurring. I am not willing to wait for a stroke before i check my carotid arteries !!! Besides, this MD has a malpractice listed on the internet - for stopping a medication when it should have been taken by the patient, thus resulting in a catastrophe. Go elsewhere!

Dr Dunsky dismissed my complaints over a number of months. Eventually I was rushed to ICU with Congestive Heart Failure and have since been diagnosed with a dissected aorta as well. He also prescribed a medication that has since been contraindicated.
