Dr. Kevin Dahmen, MD

Dr Dhaman is the 'psychiatrist' on staff at the CHI hospital in Bismarck. He is a horrible aggressive person and should not be allowed near anybody's child. He is also a coward and doesn't return phone calls because apparently he is God and answers to no one. Good thing is he will indeed answer to God some day. It won't go well for him. He is a vile unprofessional cowardly human being.

It's never easy to hear there is something wrong with your child, even if you know deep down inside, it's hard to hear and except it, I do believe the dr is also on the spectrum, so I was very ok with the lack of personal emotions, but I appreciate his honesty and straightforwardness , he was very knowledgeable and helpful and that's all that matters.

Poor bed side manners with respect to the parent. Stated in the paperwork all medications must be approved by me the Parent and Dr. Dahmen gave my son medications without consent for a non emergency application. Refused to accept or listen to me the parent and what I saw going on in my sons day to day activities. Diagnosed my son with depression and moved on to the next kid. Dr. Dahmen also had open discussions with my 16 year old son about my financial business ultimately forcing me to have a discussion with a child about a subject t that is non of his business. Worst doctor I have ever encountered in my life, he should not be allowed to practice medicine in any state.

I trust he makes the best decision for my daughter regarding what medications will work best. He's friendly enough, always listens to my concerns and his staff is usually very fast to get us in. I never feel rushed out of the appointment. He always makes us feel comfortable to discuss any issues or answer any questions we have.

For one this Dr doesn't care about his patients, he refused to see my granddaughter because she missed an appt due to being in the hospital in Minnesota. He didn't care about her medication and whether she could still get it or be taken off of it safely.

Learned a lot
