If you have a rare skin disease do not see him
My Mom was seeing him for a rare lymphoma diagnosis. She was only his fourth patient with this diagnosis in his career. . It took 6 months before she could get in to see him and by then it had progressed to stage IV. I feel as though he underestimated her condition. In the beginning he approved the decision for her to get a port which got infected and almost cost her life. One of the treatments he prescribed helped, and some worked for short term, but she needed additional treatments to manage her skin, and I felt that his suggestions were not aggressive enough. I personally got the impression he didn’t have enough experience with this particular disease. Looking back, his nurses were wonderful with supporting us during many critical moments. I often wonder if Dr Cooper had referred us to a specialist and team more dedicated to the research and treatment of this disease. We were willing to go anywhere. My Mom may have had a few more years.

Dr. Cooper diagnosed me correctly, but his bedside manner is terrible. He comes across as very arrogant and I didn’t feel like he was listening to my questions. I felt like he dismissed my concerns.
