I recently had the privilege of having Dr. Kevin Campbell perform a revision on my 18 year old hip replacement, and I cannot praise him enough. Dr. Campbell is one of a few board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons around. I needed a revision on my knee that was replaced over 20 yrs ago. Dr. Campbell replaced my 86 year old mother's knee using the robotic assisted procedure, and the result is truly outstanding! This particular knee replacement was the third one for my mother, and a redo of one that was done poorly by another surgeon in Florida several years ago, which had since failed. Due to my mother's age, we were all a little concerned about doing a surgery like this, but Dr. Campbell took a lot of time with our family to explain the procedure and answer our questions, both prior to and following the procedure. As far as the rehab goes, there was essentially none! She was able to bend the joint, without assistance, 90 degrees just a week or so following the procedure with very little discomfort. The only caveat was, due to my mother's age, the doctor instructed her to keep her weight off her leg, and stay in bed with her leg elevated for six weeks while the joint healed. This was inconvenient, but BY FAR the easiest knee replacement recovery my mother had.

Dr Campbell and his team are wonderful. Very kind and everything was well explained to me. I had to have a replacement from years ago redone and everyone was amazing. Knee is pain free after years of pain. I highly recommend Dr Campbell.
