Have to give a poor review of Dr. Patel. I waited over an hour past my scheduled appointment to have a lesion removed. I was charged for both the appointment and for a procedure costing over $400 dollars that took less than 15 minutes. This second cost of the "procedure" was not communicated to me during the appointment and came as an expensive bill later. I tried getting a hold of the office, but they did not return my call until after multiple phone calls from me. They only left a message with no way for me to call them back to actually discuss my disagreement with the charge

NOT for foot care!
Dr. Patel was extremely nice, but I'm convinced his only interest is surgery - NOT foot care. I have seen a different podiatrist since I saw Dr. Patel and was amazed in the difference in knowledge and handling. I did have an infection that was obvious even though Dr. Patel said the lab said my test was negative so he didn't treat it though OBVIOUS. My new podiatrist saw it, recognized it, and treated it with prescription medicine. Dr. Patel was very painful when cutting my toenails, whereas my new podiatrist Dr. Ulett didn't hurt me at all. Also, on my second visit Dr. Patel was looking at and unnecessarily bandaging the wrong foot.

Extrememly disappointed in Ankle and Foot Centers. I went one visit and after insurance was over $500 out of pocket for me, then another bill 3 months later for unnecessary tests they did and charged $225 to review a test I could read myself. I do not recommend to anyone who has not met their deductible.

Personable, but seems to go straight to surgery
Both my wife and I have seen Dr. Patel and both had mediocre experiences. She saw him for major foot pain. He identified the problem to be some a foreign object in the foot and recommended surgery to remove it. She did so and was in a boot/recovery for weeks. A few months later... the exact same issue had returned. When she went back in for a follow-up to ask why/how that could be, the explanation was fuzzy and they ended up pretty much just wrapping her foot in gauze... and charging $200 for it. In my case I had a sebaceous cyst on a toe. Again, the recommendation was surgery - no other options were viable. I took a pass, seeing as my out of pocket costs were going to be in the thousands of dollars since they strongly recommend using the surgical center downstairs - that's out of network. I saw another Doctor who was shocked that Dr. Patel hadn't considered lancing and draining the cyst (sorry to be gross). He did so... and it worked fine (saving me thousands).

Hyprocure Foot/ankle Surgery
I really liked Dr. Patel. He fixed my damaged foot by placing a pin into my ankle area. I was able to return to work after 7 years of damage to my body. My foot was my remaining damage. I had my doubts! My ankle became stable and I could walk normally again.

He Fixed My Problem! – Jul 21, 2022

Dr. Patel is absolutely amazing. I had bunion surgery a couple years ago when I was 27-28 years old. I am now 30 and to this day my foot has zero pain and I can wear any shoes I want. He was so understanding and always willing to listen to all of my concerns. Because of my age, he even decided to do the surgery from the side of my toe instead of on top so I wouldn’t have a large scar on the top of my foot. Despite that way being more difficult, he decided to keep it more visibly pleasing and put himself through a little extra work. I am now starting to have issues with my other foot, and Dr. Patel will ABSOLUTELY be the doctor I go to to fix my left foot. He is one of the most incredible doctors i have ever seen and I am so grateful for him. Truly the best and he actually cares about his patients.

My mother, 89 was having trouble walking. Her toenails had grown very long, which caused her trouble standing and walking. We were so worried because we thought she needed surgery because she was in so much pain. We searched on line and found that Dr. Patel was highly recommended, with a kind, professional and great bed-side manner. Dr. Patel made my mother feel so comfortable, that she did not realize he had trimmed all her toenails! I highly recommend Dr. Patel without hesitation!

Dr Patels bedside manner is DISGUSTING!! He also likes to run very expensive tests, then wait to prescribe medical equiptment NEEDED to walk. With his extensive wait period and unbelievably SLOW office staff faxing Prescriptions all over town [Took 1 month for RX to reach correct prostetic office Dr Patel told me to use] The man is Arrogant and RUDE..........

I have had a job that requires long hours on my feet for quite a few years. I had bunions on both sides of both feet and several hammertoes. I trusted him enough to operate on my bunions and he did a beautiful job. He actually made my feet look attractive by reshaping them in the process, which I did not expect but was delighted. I have had him operate on several hammertoes and my foot pain is now very manageable. He is a good listener and truly cares about his patients.
