Nice but Doesn’t do A lot.
I went to see Dr. Murray for a well woman exam. I was in the room changed and waiting and he came in and ask me if I wanted to do the visit then or reschedule and come back another day. I thought this was strange because the reason I was there was for my exam. I went another time after I had a heart attack and I told him it was a heart attack due to stress but my heart valves and tests were good. He told me my cholesterol was excellent and better than his, but he didn’t know what else he could do but give me cholesterol medicine. My cardiologist said I didn’t need meds for cholesterol. The third time I went to see him I asked for a script for skin symptoms. It wasn’t a med that would harm me in any way but he said he wouldn’t prescribe it and sent me to a specialist. I had been on the med for years and no bad side effects at all and not a serious medication or condition.Dr Murray has always been kind and he will offer labs but other than that not a lot of help.

Red Flag
I questioned (a few times) why my "notes from my visit" kept saying my "weight" was discussed. I mean I had lost 60 lbs and weight had never, ever been discussed. His nurse called and put him on the phone with me and this guy become so defensive and rude and all but called me a lier even tho I was quite polite w him. When I sent him a screenshot he did not call me back and apologize as he said he would. I got a half-a-sed apology a few days later in an email saying it was not seen on his end. BUT he wrote me up on my Medical records (IN ALL CAPS) for all to see as if I was somehow in the wrong for questioning why it was never discussed as a health issue, obviously to cover his own a-s. His notes on my Records are very unprofessional and obviously written in anger which says alot. THESE NOTES NEED TO BE REMOVED.

Dr Murray is very good at explaining medical issues. Where he fall short is his bedside manner. He is arrogant. He has been very incorrect about medications, telling me to stop taking 60mg of an antidepressant cold turkey. Good thing I was suspicious and consulted the internet. He has been incorrect on other medication factors I have learned from specialists. Even though I had seen him for years he has listed my lifelong illnesses incorrectly in my records. Stating he copied and pasted it. He does not seem to treat much from what I have seen, always referring you to a specialist...so don’t waste your time seeing him... consult a specialist. They will do labs if that is what you want.

Doctor Murray is wonderful, but his staff I would not recommend to anyone. There is a very real lack of communication between those scheduling appointments, and those referring for tests, etc. If you do decide to make anyone at this clinic your doctor, please followup with the staff should you experience anything that seems “off”, as it may save your life.

He seems more interested in complaining about the declining healthcare industry than listening to you. He generalizes your condition by others than looking intently at your situation. Took me weeks to get in to see him and he'll never do an urgent appt. He won't prescribe any type of meds, he'll just send you to a specialist. It's pretty bad when you have to suggest doing blood work which turned out to be something. I would look elsewhere for a doctor that really cares about patients.

Dr Murray saw my Dad following a visit to the emergency room when he wasn’t feeling better. He was seen quickly and during the review of the labs, he had concerns and admitted him to the hospital. We are so grateful to Dr Murray for being so thorough and Dad is now feeling better.

Well, I was involved in a car accident on the 13th of May. Ended up in ER. Since Saturday I have been having headaches, nausea and dizziness. I called to get into see the good doctor. He won't see me until the 16th of June. I really can't even give him a star. And no, I won't give him as a recommendation to anyone. I give no stars for anything.

Went to see Dr. Murray for excruciating back pain. He sent me to get x rays. They showed mild arthritis. He absolutely refused to prescribe me paid medication and made me do a drug test. Like I was some drug addict criminal. After that he and his staff said that they would no longer see me. Two months later an MRI showed severe spinal stenosis and spinal spondylitis. So there is now concrete proof of why I was in so much intolerable pain. Yet this so called doctor shoved me away with insult.
