I was horribly disappointed in the care I received after I paid for my treatment. Even though I have insurance, the office told me they could not access my information, made me pay for the procedure prior to it and have yet to contact the insurance company for reimbursement. BUT they sure had to be paid up front! And the post op care I received was terrible! I was so nauseated by the procedure that for 2 weeks I had dry heaves and they basically inferred it was my imagination. Rather than prescribe anti-nausea medication, he said to give several of the pre-op pills he had at the office. Which didn't help and I ended up in the emergency room at the hospital. His office staff was terribly rude - like I was interfering in their day when I'm the patient! I would NEVER refer or recommend him!

Both Knipe and office manager Beth are bar none the rudest most brutal people I have dealt with in this field . It’s honestly sick . Arrogant , prideful , snobby and entitled are the tip of The iceberg .

Dr. Knipe removed my wisdom teeth 10 years ago. I instantly knew something was not right with my lower left side the day after my surgery. Half my tongue was still number and burning, and shooting with pain. When I went back for the follow up a week or so later I told him about this and that I was worried. He said oh it'll take time don't worry could take a couple weeks. I let it go for a couple of weeks, and in immense amount of daily pain. Several weeks later it was still the same to no improvement. I called his office worried, terrified.. explaining this situation was still happening. I made an appointment he told me its normal it could take 6 months to a year to come back. He said give it a year to heal. So for a a year i waited. Still nothing changed. I developed major anxiety disorder, and was in constant chronic daily pain. I went to University of Penn after a year and a couple months because i felt like Dr. Knipe just did not care what had happened to me. When I saw the oral su

Dr. Knipe performed my oral surgery due to an underbite issue. Needless to say he botched the surgery and took no responsibility for it. I’m suppose to have the surgery again, but don’t want to go through the agony. Definitely find another oral surgeon.

Dr. Knipe ruined my life. He removed my wisdom teeth, a week after I was still in excruciating pain and had numbness on the left side of my tongue and all along my left jaw area. I went to him explaining what I was experiencing he basically told me, give it time. And if it's permanent you signed the papers knowing the risk. 8 years have gone by and I still have numbness, it has changed my life. I am not the person I used to be. Now I am anxious and terrified of anything health related.
