Excellent Doctor
About two years ago I switched from one Doctor at IPM to Dr Kim. I couldn't be happier. The first doctor made me feel like I was a drug addict. Dr. Kim listens, understands, explains things thoroughly and genuinely cares for you and your condition. I highly recommend him!!!

Dr. Kim doesn't listen, won't review treatment notes or evaluations from other providers. Every single treatment note from his office has at least 5 errors and his own first report contains 15. The "direct line" to his office goes to a call center in Portland, OR.

Dr Kim has done an a amazing job with me and I have only been with him for 6 months, he has giving me more help with diagnosing my problems than all the other doctors I’ve seen within the last 10 years combined. He really listens and he actually has a plan on how to help you get better, and not just rushing to judgement or by frowning down on you because their treatments they provide are not working. I’m very pleased with Dr.Kim and I recommend all who are suffering from Chronic back pain as I do, to give him a shot!!! I did!!! Thx Dr.Kim

Extremely professional and a wonderful listener. He really tries to help his patients and is never rude or condescending. Dr. Kim never rushed me or hurried me out the door unlike some doctors I've had. Definitely would see again. Five stars

I have been a patient of Dr. Kim's for about 2.5 years. I have found Dr. KIM to be an excellent Doctor who is kind compassionate, and who speaks to me with respect. I would give him 5 stars.

I believe that doctors and patients should have an honest relationship. Dr Kim lied to me, kept parading me thru various assistants who changed drugs on me that had me to the point of going crazy and thinking thoughts of suicide. If you can find a different doctor, you should do it.

I've switched insurances a lot and so I have had many pain specialists in my 7 years of chronic pain. I'm only 26 and would often at least initially have a lot of doubt cast on my condition and doctors would scoff at the high level of meds I was on to live a normal life after several injuries and car accidents but Dr. Kim from day 1 was extremely compassionate and caring, he listens carefully and then approached my pain from every direction and helped me get to my most functional in yrs. . A++

He spoke with me not at me. He took the time to look directly at me when speaking. I felt comfortable around him and I knew I was being considered not judged.

I am very upset. Yesterday my urine test was positive for a couple of drugs I've NEVER taken. Obviously a felony committed in the bathroom. A person behind me obviously traded my specimen for theirs. There were about ten other specimens in the cupboard. I asked the nurse outside to take them out of there and she just gave me an annoyed look. I don't know why Dr. Kim didn't ask me for a new specimen. I was too shocked to think that. He said he would recheck and I should call him in a few.
