Lazy and uninsightful
I saw Dr. Kenneth Fine for an MCL tear which I was dealing with instability/pain in my knee for months. He ordered an MRI, which confirmed a tear. I had to pay an additional co-pay for him to read the results of the MRI to me (which I could read myself) and have him tell me “rest for a few weeks.” He also claimed he would send me physical therapist recommendations and a prescription for PT (still haven’t got). It took me nearly 10 calls to his assistant to get any info back from the office and only then she sent me a link to a generic physical therapy site that a google search could have brought me too.On top of all this, I noticed I had a bump in my palm. He assumed it was a ganglion cyst and was arguing he could pop it right then and there. I thankfully declined and learned after a second (and third) opinion that I have a progressive disease called Dupuytrens. His negligence could have harmed my hand further, but I don’t really blame him since the disease is rare for young patients.

Do not go to for ACL tear
This doctor repaired my torn ACL and meniscii but left me with arthrofibrosis (excessive scar tissue causing a stiff knee) based on his pre-and post-surgery plan of care and surgical technique. This condition is entirely preventable but very debilitating if it occurs. I had to undergo another surgery (this time with a knowledgeable expert), adding significant time and cost to my recovery. Do your research on arthrofibrosis and go to a knee specialist orthopedic if you tear your ACL to avoid this complication happening to you. This doctor does not understand it.

Dr Fine has treated my knee arthritis for over five years and he has consistently been patient, knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He has never pressured me into having surgery, Instead I have been able to maintain an active lifestyle with the various medical interventions. Would not hesitate to recommend Dr Fine for any orthopedic issues. Staff are all terrific as well!

Dr. Fine went out of his way to help diagnose and treat my son. We were so close to dismissing a finger injury, but Dr. Fine took time on a Saturday to let us know it was dislocated and met us at the hospital within the hour to pop it back in place. So thankful!
