Dr. Kenisha Campbell, MD

Avoid this Dr. We had the misfortune of seeing Dr. Campbell when we took our child to CHOP adolescent medicine for a first visit. Dr. Campbell misdiagnosed her with organ failure based solely on an initial screening performed by her trainee. Without examining or talking to our daughter, Dr. Campbell said she was going to die and had to be admitted to their multi-week program for severe eating disorders. She was unprofessional and cold, threatening our daughter that she would be in the hospital for weeks and force fed. At the ER, all the tests (vitals, labs, physical exam, EKG, weight & BMI) were normal. She had a low heart rate, stable for over 3 months, because she was a runner (later confirmed by a cardiologist). We refused to allow Dr. Campbell to cause our daughter irreparable trauma with her rush to judgement, but we shudder to think what could have happened if we didn't fight back.

My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Campbell’s for over a year. She’s been part of her Eating disorder treatment team. She’s a dedicated physician and spends time with her patients making sure they understand what needs to be done to succeed. I highly recommend her to any parent looking for a caring and qualified doctor for their child.
