Excellent, caring physician
I have been a patient of Dr. Zuckerman for 15 years. She is competent, caring and listens. She doesn't rush appointments and works across specialties to get her patients have best care possible. I have severe osteoporosis with multiple vertebral and hip fractures. Her treatment plan I attribute to retarding the vicious cycle of fractures that I was experiencing. I highly recommend Dr. Zuckerman to anyone needing a rheumatologist

I was a patient of Dr. Zuckermans for several years. She told me I had to start treatment for my bones about 4 years ago. I declined treatment at the time. Over the past 10 years I have faced serious medical problems that caused me to lose focus on the bone problem. I even did not realize how serious it was until I recently went to another doctor who ordered a dexa scan. I know that patients are supposed to be proactive, and I am responsible for my mistakes, but after seeing Dr. Zuckerman in the past four years a few times presenting with back pain, I think that she would have tried to aggressively push treatment to help me. My impression is she is very laid back. I think a doctor should give a patient as much help as possible, especially if they are becoming incapacitated. My condition is critical now since I have severe bone loss. Seeing a nice doctor is one thing, but seeing a doctor that will look at your chart and follow up something serious is what I needed and deserved.
