Refusal to Treat
Unfortunately, this review isn't going to be in regards to stellar service. I needed to be transferred. Dr. Haberman was the one the ER called and asked for my transfer. With acute renal failure and hydronephrosis of both kidneys, he denied my transfer.I ended up at another ER the following day for emergency surgery where another urologist actually took my condition seriously. Three months later and I can tell you from his lack of action, I STILL am dealing with hydronephrosis and I am unsure if it would be this bad if Dr. Haberman took my care seriously. If he was unable to take me in for other reasons, he should have had the ER try to transfer me immediately to another urology, but to outright deny me and cause my discharge is a clear issue that he should have to live with by letting other patients know that he IS NOT the person you want to be in charge of your care in this day and age and I'm not even elderly. Please find anther doctor.

Disappointed in the care and health service
Today’s experience was not good. My husband has a progressive neurological disease and needs help with everything because his mobility is poor. My husband was there to get a catheter inserted. The MA rushed into the room and started setting up the materials and there was a second MA with her. Neither one introduced themselves, informed us on what they would be doing, and basically just started the procedure in a quick, rough manner. They couldn’t get the catheter inserted correctly so they went and got another MA. This nurse was successful. This was a first time for a catheter for my husband and he didn’t know what to expect. We felt the first MA was grumpy and rude to us. Also, we felt like Dr. Haberman rushed through the appointment and didn’t give us time for questions on the care of the catheter. We were disappointed in the care that we got.

Excellent Surgeon. I can't say enough. He explained everything that would happen and what to expect. He 100% accurate. During the post-op and follow up visits, he took whatever time I needed to answer questions.
