Professional, Proficient, good bedside Manner
I saw Dr K. Nations at Gulfport Memorial under emergency care. They had run out of beds and the waiting room was full. I was very impressed that she reran previous test, ordered tests previously missed by other doctors. Although they were on overload I feel as though I recieved the best professional care ever. Thank you Dr Nations & Gulfport Memorial.

Saved my life
Many years ago now, about 6 maybe 7, this doctor showed me care, and went above and beyond to help me, and ended up saving my life by finding my cancer in such an obscure place. I have read some negative reviews, that is fine we all have bad days, but this Doctor is amazing, and I will remember her forever.

My mother, a cancer patient, has been to Gulfport Memorial a few times for issues pertaining to her illness and issues that had nothing to do with cancer (e.g. kidney stone, pneumonia). On both of those times, she saw Dr. Nations, and on both times, Dr. Nations made her feel awful for even being there... as if my mom was inconveniencing HER in some way. With her kidney stone, my mom experienced a lot of nausea due to the pain, and Dr. Nations IMMEDIATELY wrote it off as it was related to her cancer when it was NOT related to that at all. Dismissed her after my mom had been waiting for hours and sent her home under the assumption that, with SWOLLEN KIDNEYS, her cancer was causing her nausea. On the 2nd visit, she sent my mom home from the ER with PNEUMONIA. Literally... my mom had to go back to the ER soon after and was admitted almost immediately (not admitted by Dr. Nations, obviously). To my mom and I, Dr. Nations made my mom feel like she was such a bother for even showing up.

Took our adult son to the ER at Gulfport memorial for a severe panic attack. Dr Nation entered the exam room and immediately made a very bad panic attack worse by demeaning our son's condition. She was in the room a total of 1 minute and spoke condescendingly the whole time we were there. We specifically drove a further distance to go to this hospital because we've always had outstanding service there; no more tho. Dr Nations needs to exhibit more empathy with her patients.
