Dr. Kelly Lorenz, MD

I was going to Dr Lorenz. My bill was supposed to be covered by insurance. I applied for insurance earlier before my appointment and I thought I was covered. They billed me personally. A couple of months later I was approved and it was supposed to be retroactive. I told the office that and they evidently did not because they sent the bill to collections. I wrote Dr Lorenz a personal snail mail letter and no response. I wrote her a certified registered letter about this and no response. She told me at one appointment that I can contact her about problems and she would address them. She did not do this in my case. I called their office asking them about this and they told me the office had a lot of things going on at this time. For six months?? She and other physicians own Ophthalmic Associates so they cannot really blame the office if they own it. I am now stuck with the bill because of their ineptness and not caring about a patient I am searching for a new doctor

I had cataract surgery. Dr. Lorenz seemed very competent and knowledgable. She was also very friendly and open to questions.
