Dr. Kelly Llewelyn, DO

Dr. Llewelyn was fine. The office manager told me that 'you just need to accept it' when I was concerned about the privacy policy stating that they could sell my information.

Dr. Llewelyn has very poor bedside manner and does NOT listen to her patients. I saw her for my second time, for my annual checkup/exam. I told her about a lump that I noticed 6 months prior and told her that it didn’t feel like a cyst (I had fibrocystic breast tissue), & that it had gotten noticeably larger in the last 3 months. I also told her about experiencing sharp nerve pain and requested imaging. She dismissed me and said it was nothing to worry about unless it had been “a while”. I asked what “a while” was & she said “3-4 months.” I repeated that it had been 6 months and I wanted imaging. She reluctantly agreed to put in the order, likely because of my career in the field of oncology. Three weeks later, after a mammo, ultrasound, and biopsy, I was diagnosed with stage 2 invasive ductal carcinoma. Thank GOD I pushed for imaging. I’ve since had chemotherapy, a double mastectomy with reconstruction & found out I have the BRCA 2 gene mutation. Her inability to listen is dangerous.

Dr. Wisely is not a doctor that I will ever see again. She had poor bedside manner and lied to me. She told me I was measuring small and that I needed to have an ultrasound to make sure everything was ok with the baby. In reality, she ordered the ultrasound because she thought I was fat. She made me concerned about my baby for no reason. If she had been honest with me, I would have trusted and appreciated her advice. Instead she lied for no reason.
