I would not recommend Dr. Geldmacher. Her bedside was horrible. She and the nurses were mean and unprofessional.

This is the worst doctor I have ever encountered. After a CT scan I was told by this doctor that I had cancer that had originated in my appendix and spread. When I asked how many tumors there were she lowered her head. I asked if there were too much to count and she said yes. This was only based on a CT and after talking to several educated doctors, I have been told a doctor can not make a diagnosis like that until a biopsy is done. Turns out she was wrong and I didn’t have appendix cancer. I had lymphoma - highly treatable, “I will likely live to old age” lymphoma. The cancer was in my lymphocytes and with my medical history of an autoimmune disorder (more likely to have lymphoma) - she should have known this was not cancer that spread. She caused so much unnecessary agony and heartache for me and my family. I am glad to say I am in remission and thriving after being treated by competent doctors at Siteman.

I went into the emergency in second week of September with chronic kidney infection called as pyelonephritis. Dr. Geldmacher was very good in diagnosis and my kidney was saved. I was discharged after 2 days and everything was fine with my health.
