Dr. Kelly Baylan, MD

I had an appt and when she appeared the screen was blank and told me to enter the appointment again via text link. She seen me and stated she heard me. While I was trying to reconnect she cancelled appt.

This doctor has extensive experience and knowledge about very difficult diagnoses. It’s not easy to find doctors that are as familiar as she is.

I scheduled an appointment with her through Allwell, after I scheduled with her, I fell upon her reviews. All of her reviews were negative, citing her poor bedside manner and overall unprofessionalism. I disregarded those reviews and still kept my appointment with her. When we connected via video, her camera was pitch black, but it was obvious she was there because I could hear her breathing, typing, and could see mild shadow movement in the dark. After one minute of staring at the screen, she ended the appointment without a word - which MULTIPLE reviews stated she had done to them as well. As a mental health professional myself, I am just glad that I had this experience and not someone who waited all day long in crisis to meet with whom they thought could help. I highly advise seeking treatment elsewhere as the reviews do not lie.

Agree with the prior negative reviews, which I had seen but figured maybe people were exaggerating given the nature of online reviews. Unfortunately I also had quite a strange experience with Dr. Baylan via Doctor on Demand and would not recommend her. Agree with prior comments about it being creepy that she only shows her eyes on webcam, and she made some inappropriate comments that made me uncomfortable. Her overall vibe was just off and it felt borderline judgemental and intrusive/pushy.

Dr. Baylan is direct and to the point, but also clearly cares about patient's recovery. She may ask people to take personal responsibility, which clearly gets an emotional response from those who don't want to admit they need to improve. But I appreciate her being honest about what medications could offer me and what I needed to do for myself. I'm alive because of her.

Another reviewer mentioned that she only show her eyes an d too if her head in video. Yes, true. I found this disconcerting. Besides that , my appointment was 45 minutes but lasted 13. She’s not interested in listening to anything you say, just eager to get off the call. Cold and does not care in the least. I told her I had a referral from my GP, and she said that was nonsense. I was looking for help with focus at work, and she didn’t even talk to me.

I said I am suffering from depression and wanted to die, but she completely ignored it and asked me list of questions which are unrelated to depression or anxiety which I was saying my problem is. She asked if I am addicted to any substances(which I am not) and said cut short the meeting in 15 minutes instead of scheduled 45 minutes. She said I am fine and but I am not sure how long I can live like this.

If you want a sane and brilliant Psychiatrist, call Dr Baylan. Of all the Psychiatrists I have met in 42 years of medical practice, she’s the best, or at least tied with one other for best. Definitely my first choice if I need her help. Lillian Perez D.O.

Atrocious. Cold. Condescending. Rude. Judgmental. Acts as if you are bothering her and a waste of her time. Cuts you off. Makes assumptions that aren't rational or valid. Only shows eyes and above on video which is extremely creepy.

Dr Boylan is wonderful. She listens and truly cares about your treatment and well-being. She always ensures your medication is working and that your questions and concerns are covered.

I have been seeing Dr. Baylan for 1.5 years now. I have never had a bad experience with her. She listens to what I have to say, she asks about previous things we discussed in later visits, she always makes sure my prescriptions are still working for me and are filled on time. She is pleasant, concerned, and empathetic.

My first appointment was suppose to be 45 minutes. Lasted 17 minutes for her to tell me to get over it and go back to work. She made me feel lower than I already feel.

Doesn’t care about your actual issues. Blames everything on marijuana, including CBD oil, and not real issues like mental and physical abuse and sexual assault. Horrible bedside manner as well. Seemed annoyed during the entire appointment. Would highly NOT recommend.
