Dr. Kellie Butler, MD

Dismissing Dr. didn’t listen to any of my questions, and dismissed initial blood testing that is supposed to be done at the beginning of pregnancy. Rushed to get out of the room. Also said that miscarriages is a normal thing that happens like it’s something a first time mom should hear a lot. Very disappointed, definitely not coming back.

During a test, she took away one, tiny decision I could make in a bid to be 'reassuring' and that loss hurts more now than the pain did--and the pain was considerable.

I was shocked by how rude Dr. Butler was. I came to her seeking help for chronic pain and she told me I was being dramatic. Additionally, despite the fact that I was dealing with pain she was rough and caused more pain than I believe was necessary.

My experience with Dr. Kellie Butler has been the most awful experience I have ever had with a doctor. Dr. Butler was rude, dismissive, and not even remotely close to having any bedside manner. I was frustrated with a reoccurring issue that could not be solved. Dr. Butler let me know she would perform a vaginal swab. Little did I know that this single swab would cost me $750. I now have a bill totaling $1100 for 2 tests. $1100 later she STILL didn’t solve the problem. I had to go to my original doctor who solved the problem with a simple test for $35. After calling Dr. Butler’s office and dealing with my insurance company, I can tell you that Dr. Butler’s office is only in the business of getting money from patients. They refuse to help me with my bill, despite acknowledging that $1100 is an astronomical amount for a patient to pay and they need to stop these tests immediately. Beware of this office.

This is a Doctor who cares more about when her next tennis game is than the well being of her patients. When I still had questions, she told me it was the end of her work day. I understand that doctors see so many people in a day, but I would rather be treated like a human being instead of a walking copayment. Every patient should matter.
