I give her an F-. It looks like other people like her but she wasn't very nice to me. I had breast cancer 8 years ago. Because my surgeon left his practice to join the Navy, I was seeing Dr. Pettit in his absence. She told me I shouldn't be taking up her other patients time ( 1/2 hour per year?) by seeing her. So in essence she was telling me she wouldn't see me any more. Now what doctor does that?! Doctors have a practice so they can help you but evidently she doesn't think that way.

Excellent surgeon with special training in minimally-invasive partial mastectomy. Took time to explain everything thoroughly, understandably. Offered & explained all breast cancer surgery options. She gets to know each patient's preferences/styles and customizes her approach. Forthright, compassionate. She knew what I was going through and made me feel like she was my advocate. She even called with biopsy results from her home when they arrived early. Featured in Waukesha Freeman article.

Thank you Dr. Pettit for calming my nerves and assuring me that I was in the hands of excellence . Being in the health industry myself I appreciated your compassion , explanation of procedure and care that I was to receive. Your team of professionals from the time my husband and I walked in the door to being assisted back to the car after my surgery brought comfort in time of need.
