Excellent outstanding. On April 9, 2025 9:30 AM I had a scheduled follow up appointment with Dr Chung to remove my stiches from my March 9, 2025 avil fstuma same day surgery at St Michael Hospital Silverdale Washington. As of todays scheduled appointment when Dr Chung removed my stiches I was so happy that she informed me that the healing process was great and I would continue to take the healing process seriously as instructed

Dr Chung performed my gall bladder surgery. She was excellent. Competent and caring. Her team was stellar as well.

Dr. Chung is an absolute sweetheart! She made everything clear with what to expect with my operation, she was thurough with post op instructions, and she takes pride in her work. It was also so refreshing to have a doctor that has a sense of humor! She's very kindhearted and if I ever need another procedure I want her!

When a biopsy showed Atypic cells, I met with Dr. Kelli Chung with a whole page of questions and she sat down and answered every single one. The surgery to remove the tissue went much smoother than I expected. No pain or complications at all afterwards. Dr. Chung is upbeat but compassionate, very knowledgeable and obviously very skilled. I can’t recommend her enough.

Dr. Chung was brutally honest about some health issues that were lifestyle related. She pulled no punches and let the truth fly. She did so matter of factly, but with care and goodwill. She also has a great sense of humor and after the shock wore off we had a good laugh. She was more inclined to talk it out than write a prescription and send me on my way. As a result I have started exercising daily, eating better, and loosing a lot of weight. I’m feeling better, I’m more active, and the future is as bight as can be without any new meds or surgery. Fantastic.

Dr. Chung was very thorough explaining the benefits and risks of the surgery. She told me what to expect during the recovery period.

Previous to my surgery, Dr. Chung explained why my gallbladder should be removed which I understood because I knew I had a number of small stones in my gall bladder. A few months previously I was hospitalized when a small stone was lodged in my track and my gallbladder and pancreas both were inflamed. I was in alot of pain until the stone passed which it did while I was in the emergency room previous to being admitted, then no pain. a few weeks ago, Dr Chung removed my gallbladder with no problems and I am back to normal pretty much. Dr. Chung is a very patient and caring surgeon.

I was referred to Dr. Chung for what was believed to be a hernia repair. Based on the results of her first examination, she ordered a CT scan which revealed a Lipoma (fatty growth), not a hernia. She explained the options for treatment and accommodated our busy schedule when we decided on surgery. The surgery was quicker and easier than I anticipated, and everyone involved at the hospital was top notch. Recovery has also been easier than expected. All in all, she provided excellent care.

Dr. Chung, was very knowledgeable, considerate, and compassionate during my visit to her office.

Dr. Chung has taken care of my mother on multiple occasions. Her care and expertise is beyond a 5 star review on a website. She is an absolute amazing surgeon and human. My mom had problems healing from her surgery due to a preexisting disease and Dr. Chung checked in with her almost daily. My mom ended up needing more surgery and she lives 3 hours away. Dr. Chung made it work. My mom is now healed and back to normal. I have know Dr. Chung for 12 years, she has 22 years of experience. She would be my choice for a surgeon any day!

I had 2 surgeries 10 years apart from Dr. Chung. Both times, she was kind, listened well, and gave me the time to answer all my questions. I felt confident in her recommendations. Both times, I was amazed at the quality of her surgical work. The smaller scars have almost disappeared in 3 weeks. The others healed and look great. I had minimal pain during recovery. I felt I was in good hands.

Dr Chung is an exceptional doctor who takes the time to listen to her patient’s concerns. I realize how busy she is however I’ve never felt that she’s rushed me out of the office. I truly admire her professionalism and expertise. Anyone who has Dr Chung for their Doctor and Surgeon is very fortunate and in extremely good hands.

Dr Chung made me feel so much better discussing my options at clinic.On my surgery day she came in and again went over everything and how to take care post operatively.My surgery turned out really well and i'm happy to say my healing process has been uneventfulI am so glad I had such an excellent surgeonDr Chung performed one of my sisters surgeries also.I think so much of Dr Chung and how much she cares for her patients I will be forever grateful for her dedication to her patients

Dr. Chung is very straight forward and explained what to expect during and after the surgery. She and the staff were very professional, ensured that all of my concerns were addressed before the surgery and that after the surgery I was capable of going home prior to releasing me.

Dr. Chung is very professional and knowledgeable. She treated me for breast cancer and she saved my life. She explained my disease and treatment options clearly. I felt totally confident in her level of expertise and management plans. I have known for her 13 years and have referred many family members and friends to her and they are always grateful that I sent them to her.

Zero communication, rushed procedure, no awareness of patient history. Unprofessional enough to be potentially dangerous.
