Dr. Wilkerson was great but well med is not .
my wife and I have been going to Dr. Wilkerson for 25+ years and really loved him. But now that Well Med has taken over the service is not very good in my opinion. The last couple of times it has taken me approximately three months to get in. I was told that they were short on doctors and etc. with Dr. Wilkerson I seldom had to wait more than 10 days. Having somebody that knew you personally was really nice. I would expect that We’ll Med will get all the kinks worked out and be just fine.

The good doctor has left the building!
My husband has been a patient for 20 years and I have been a patient for a little short of 15…Used to be wonderful but Dr. Wilkerson is only the “name” now..You WILL NIT see or talk to him anymore. ..You will see another doctor or one of the P.A,’s.My husband almost died of a heart condition and has been under the care of a cardiologist..He CANNOT get a referral now to see this doctor because this “current” staff is always too busy…Whatever this office was is now gone..We have been waiting 2-3 weeks now…He has gone to the office and tried calling…They simply don’t care..DO NOT let the name on the plaque deceive you.

Doc Won't Even Speak to You
DO NOT GO HERE. Horribly rude staff. The Doctor will refuse to even speak to you. I was a patient of ten years before they just decided one day that they would no longer see me and would not speak to me about it. I tried four times to speak to the Doctor and he absolutely refused to take 1 minute out of his day to speak to me.

Hard to schedule appointment, staff doesn't care
Dr. Wilkerson and his office used to be very caring and easy to book appointment. Over the last 5 years appointments have become harder to book, staff is uncaring and uninformative. Appointment are generally with PAs or other doctors in the office...no consistancy. I will be searching out a different PCP. BTW when I told the phone receptionist that I would be seeking another PCP she said "good, have a good day".

I have been visiting Dr. Wilkerson for many years, possibly at least 20. I am grateful to have such a caring and compationate doctor, and his staff has always been very friendly and helpful too. The staff has always gotten me in a waiting room to see Dr. Wilkerson quickly, and I have not had to wait long for the doctor to come in either. Dr. Wilkerson has had to refer me to specialists, and I have always felt that he has referred me to the best doctors in town. I have heard this from some of the patients in the lobby also.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr Wilkerson for many years and are very satisfied with his care. He doesn’t rush through appointments and listens to our concerns. When we’ve had a need for specialist he doesn’t hesitate to help us find the right one. I find his staff to be very helpful and caring. I would and have recommended Dr Wilkerson to my friends and family.

I have been a patient of Dr. Wilkerson's for many years. He is one of the most kind, caring and professional doctors I have every known. I feel very comfortable with him and his staff and he has always listened to what I had to say. I have waited a while, but he was always apologetic and never rushed me during my visit. He is personable, but professional and I feel fortunate to have a doctor and his staff that really cares about their patients. I would definitely recommend Dr. Wilkerson to any family member and friend.

Dirty offices, rude, incompetent staff, no respect for patients' time, and I've spent in excess of two hours past the scheduled appointment time in the waiting room. I've been seeing Wilkerson for over two decades. He used to be a good doctor, but over time, has become an absentee business owner - you will actually see a nurse practitioner. I've had them misdiagnose ailments, refuse to fill prescriptions, refuse to provide medical records and notes when needed, and last but not least, their phlebotomist has bloodied and mangled my arm on two different occasions trying to draw blood, finally sending me to a lab down the street where the job was done promptly with no problem whatsoever. If you're seeking friendly, reliable, professional medical attention, you'll want to steer clear of this practice.

Started going here when I moved to Texas two years ago. Big mistake. Any doctor that refuses to wear a mask during a pandemic is a danger to all his patients. That plus an incompetent office staff equals me finding a new doctor.

My husband and I have been patients for over 20 years. Dr. Wilkerson takes time with each appointment and puts you at ease in discussing ailments. Excellent doctor. If he feels you need to be seen by a specialist, he will recommend a colleague; someone he trusts. Next year I will be eligible for Medicare and he has already advised me that he does take Medicare patients so I will not have to find another doctor. I highly recommend him!
