A Wonderful Doctor
Dr Sherrow is an excellent doctor. He's more caring & attentive than many other doctors I've seen. He also has a vast amount of knowledge and experience that he brings to his practice, and approaches medical problems like an enthusiastic detective trying to solve a mystery. I had a medical emergency that was misdiagnosed in the hospital emergency room, But the next day he realized the real caused nature of the infection, and sent me to St. Peter's Hospital immediately and through calling ahead I was able to get the correct treatment that saved my vision in one eye. (I was on intravenous antibiotics for four days). He has helped me more than several highly paid specialists with an intractable chronic medical issue (frequent and intense migraines) with his resourcefulness. And I really like that he has a respect for holistic practices and is not all about always prescribing drugs. I have been his patient for almost ten years now.

As a patient of Dr. Sherrow, I have found him to be very kind, concerned and an excellent diagnostician. He diagnosed a rare illness, temporal arterios,in my husband. The treatment and follow-up was excellent and very thorough. Other doctors we saw in the course of treatment were very impressed with his work We are very grateful to him.

Dr. Sherrow is the best doctor my husband and I have ever seen. He's an amazing diagnostician and diagnosed my husband's rare disease in a day that the top doctor at Johns Hopkins Myositis Center in Baltimore said usually takes months, and several doctors, to diagnose. Aside from his expertise, he is always available when needed and goes out of his way for us at all times. Even after I've seen specialists I go back to him for his advice and treatment. I highly recommend him for people who want a doctor who is not only skilled but who truly cares.

Dr. Sherrow has treated by 87 year old mother for the last 4 years. I have found him to be kind, considerate and knowledgeable. Because he generally treats an elderly population, I believe him to be an expert at diagnosing and recommending treatment for seniors. Dr. Sherrow follows up with phone calls and stayed in contact with me regularly during my mother's hospitalization. Dr. Sherrow also has referred us to an excellent cardiologist and neurologist. I trust his judgement. N.D. 2/26/19

Dr. Sherrow has been my internist for the past 7 years. I have always found him to have excellent diagnostic skills and he has great empathy whenever I am going through a hard time. I recommend him highly as a primary care physician. His office staff is courteous and friendly, and I never wait long for my appointments. When I am sick I can always get in on the same day.

Dr. Sherrow sees an older population, often with very complex and multiple diagnoses. Very impressive the way the Dr. balances both the medical and personal. He's kind, compassionate, very thorough, and also practical, as practicing medicine in the middle of NJ, away from the bigger cities and medical centers, is often very challenging.
