I was a patient in 1995 of the good doctor Quattrocchi at UNC Healthcare in Chapel Hill, NC. The doctor went along with what a quack of a doctor from Raleigh Neurology said. I had an inoperable brain tumor. He was not smart enough to do his own tests to find out what was actually wrong with me. He finally decided to do a biopsy and it came back as negative. Shortly there after he moved his practice to Maine. His esteemed colleagues at UNC then preformed every test under the sun. I went back to my PCP after 6 months and was told it was a full blown hemorrhagic stroke.

Just completely wonderful! Very down to earth, easy to understand, patient, honest, not pushy, very encouraging, stays in contact with patients, open to "stupid" questions, etc.

Dr. Quattrocchi seriously inhibited my healing process post-traumatic brain injury. He gave my family little to no information on what they should expect leaving us all unequipped. In fact he painted a very distorted picture. Dr Quattrocchi rushed our follow up and brushed off my concerns and questions. And a year later, again, he dismissed my concerns, was extremely rude over the phone when I asked about symptoms; he was accusing me of being under the influence. I went without any treatment for 2 years after getting out of the ICU under his care. Those 2 years were the worst of my life and could've been avoided if he had given my family adequate information, referrals, and references.

Dr. Quattrocchi was attentive when I met with him in his office. He seemed a little shy but definitely gave me clear directions on what to expect. I was clear that I only wanted a UCSF surgeon to take care of repairing my spine. I live in Marin county. Fortunately he has an office in Marin and does surgeries at Marin General.

Dr Quattrochi performed L3/4 spinal fusion surgery on me in late 2016......as he drilled into my L3 spinal column segment he caused an 9 mm long and 3 mm wide fracture which until today has yet not healed. After he discovered this he started avoiding me & told me 3 month after my surgery that he would no longer prescribe medicines for me.

I've been seeing Dr. Quattrochi for just over 6 months for a spinal fracture that hasn't healed. I don't really know how much confidence to put in his opinion because I feel like he doesn't offer enough information. I often have to wait 45 mins, just so he can tell me everything looks fine and he'd like to see me again in 3 months. I have to come prepared with questions in order to get any info, and his answers are very short. I don't usually get more than 5-10 mins of his time.

A physician and role model of extraordinary caliber, Dr. Quattrocchi was lead UNC surgeon in 94-96 removing an aggressive invasive vascular tumor in mom's inner ear x 3. Rock steady, kind, compassionate, he is an amazingly competent individual & surgeon. His clinical, comm & interpersonal skills w/patients are sterling. Our son was a newborn & Dr. Q made rounds w/him in his arms. Our son is aware of this. At 22 years, he is following Dr. Q's footsteps, interviewing at UNC SOM soon. Thank you

right on time with my appointment. I didn't have to wait. The staff was awesome and very friendly! I had to drive from Modesto which is about 2 hours away. The receptionist worked with me on setting my appt. During the hours of the least amount of traffic. Dr. Quattrocchi was very confident which made me feel safe. Having spinal cord surgery is scary..they kind of made me feel like it was routine for neurosurgeons. Next appt in Feb. Looking forward to scheduling the surgery. Life changing
