Irresponsible and Dismissive
I went in for a full body skin check back in June of 2023. I have been seeing Dr. Kozeny for a few years at this point and was initially pleased with my care, but over the years he has become more & more dismissive & careless. My “full” body skin check lasted no more than 2 minutes and he didn’t even check half of my body - he only checked my back and legs. I have over 30 moles & hundreds of freckles all over my body. I was already off put by the lack of attention to detail in this skin check & then was told to not come back for 5 years because I’m too young for anything problematic, even after I pointed out a few moles of concern specifically. I listened initially, but returned after watching one of the concerning moles continue to grow. Another doctor at the practice was concerned, as well and took a biopsy - which came back as moderately atypical. I can’t imagine what this could have turned into if I waited 5 years. Would never see Dr. Kozeny again.

Dr. Kozeny is an excellent doctor! I have known him for 10+ years for various skin issues and very satisfied. I highly recommend him. My husband is also a patient and also gives him a 5 stars. The staff is helpful and a pleasure to deal with, too.

Do not recommend the Arlington Heights location. Took time off of work to take my son to see Dr. Kozeny. Waited over 50 minutes to see the doctor and never saw him. Had to leave. Ladies working their were less than accommodating. They implied this is what happens when you see a specialist. No true and not how you treat patients! My time is just as valuable and should be respected too.

He was unfriendly, extremely dismissive and very superficial and cold. I waited 1 1/2 hours before getting in to see the Dr.keith M Kozeny and he tried to removed JUST 1 tiny small syringoma and he made me with deep and big scars on my face now(It’s been a month already and it looks 1000x worse than before). I’ll NEVER come here again. He absolutely don’t care about patients health and life. It was awful experience..

I've had nothing but great experiences with Dr. Kozeny. I have suggested him to family and friends all the time and they say the same thing about him. Why he doesn't get 5 star ratings all the time is beyond me. The only issue would be wait times...sometimes it feels a bit long but he is a good doctor so I have no problem waiting as well as traveling 90-120 minutes round trip to see him.

A very negative experience as I liked the office staff much but the wandering doctors working in several offices seem to be a problem as I have seen two. Dr Kozeny checked on 2 spots on my face for melanoma and by phone I was told one was a problem, the other not. I insisted to be seen again, not accepting all per phone, and YES, the 2nd spot was cancerous as well. Disappointment about all incl.a 2nd problem, seen another doctor, I decided not to pay my copay/now collection/credit reports.$62

He doesn't try to learn from his patients. Uses Hyperbole in his statements of how much experience he has and his expertise. The wise man knows what he doesn't know.. He doesnt show any concern or try to make accommodations for his patients. I figure he just wants his co pay and to move on
