Always listening to how I feel

I've had 2 appointments with him. In the 2nd he, to make my life simpler, OK'd my request to have a series of labs performed at my primary care's lab. This is significant because, it might have been more profitable for him and WVCI to have my periodic labs performed by WVCI's lab. Instead he considered my welfare. I believe he's a man of high integrity who cares more for his patient than his own convenience or financial gain.He has a mild manner with an open ear - he has a calming influence while he provides professional care. He's a winner in my book.

Very knowledgeable about blood work and chemotherapy treatment. Very easy to work with in all matters of treatment.

My visit with Dr Goldstein was both informative and helpful.

Staffing was excellent! But had hope that there was more mental health care for patients and family as the stressfulness of cancer is unavoidable.

Kind and informative.

I recently had a disappointing experience with Dr. Goldstein’s team around a prescription refill. I notified my pharmacy that I needed a refill of a drug prescribed by the doctor. The pharmacy called the doctor for approval for the refill. After 2 days I called the pharmacy and they told me they had not heard back from the doctor’s office so I called the doctor’s nurse and left a message. Two days later, the pharmacy again called the doctor, left a message. I also called and left another message for the nurse. After another day and the pharmacy not hearing back, I called WVCI and asked to speak with someone in charge of patient care and satisfaction. She looked into the situation and found out the team had sent the prescription renewal to another pharmacy, not bothering to look into which pharmacy had been calling them for the renewal. My pharmacy was given the refill approval but, because it had already been filled by the wrong pharmacy, my insurance would not pay for it.

Dr. Goldstein was respectful, knowledgeable and thorough. He took his time and answered questions thoroughly. A good doctor.

Our 3 month, "Wait and See" visits about my Waldenstrom's Macroglobulemia are brief and include a quick review of my bloodwork. I would appreciate more information about the progression of my condition and future steps and treatment options. So, yes, I would like a few more minutes with my Dr. to give me ideas about how to manage fatigue from the anemia, what to do when I feel faint.

I appreciate that dr Goldstein cares about me and that I m getting the best treatment plan for waldenstrom s disease. He always takes time for my questions.

I was a little disappointed with the lack of follow up communication after CT scan. I was contacted by one of the RNs there apologizing for not responding to a message I submitted. She said she would let Dr. Goldsteins team know but I have as yet not heard from anyone.

My experiences with Dr. Goldstein were very relaxed, considering the circumstances, and he was very thorough in his testing and follow-up exam. He is also a very soft-spoken kind person, who spoke directly to me; not 'at' me while pouring over a laptop, like so many other doctors now. He was not a 'turn-n-burn' doctor, trying to see how many patients he could push through within 10 minutes either. Everyone working there was kind, so I can recommend the cancer center unreservedly, and certainly can recommend Dr. Goldstein.

Just great, he is the best doctor I've ever experienced, very smart, I'm in remission. he is kind, I give him five stars .

Everything I expected to happen, happened.

I have been in remission with multiple myeloma since June of 2021. I am very pleased with Dr. Goldstein. He listens to me and is responsive to my needs. Case in point is a reaction I was having with my thyroid medication since I had a thyroidectomy in November of 2021. Dr. Goldstein reduced the thyroid meds and that cleared up the negative side effects. I really miss not being able to get my specific cancer meds at WVCI's pharmacy. Insurance considerations forced a change. Getting a refill was very clumsy this time, and I take the blame for not being more proactive sooner. I think we have the process wired a bit tighter for future refills. Dr. Goldstein identified my cancer quickly, prescribed treatments and medications that arrested it and sent it into remission quickly. I could not ask for anything better. I am grateful he is my oncologist.

Absolutely! He is kind and caring and takes the time to listen to all of my concerns. He always explains his ideas and follow up in a way that does not leave you guessing or wondering. He is an incredible Doctor and I am lucky to have him on my team.

Dr. Goldstein of his nurse always got back to me in a timely fashion to answer my questions and concerns.

Clinic was clean and staff was efficient and friendly. Dr. Goldstein has a good bedside manner and seemed like he cared about me and my condition.
