Just Ugh.
The staff can be friendly and caring to an extent but it feels so incredibly rigid. Everyone is. Don’t go here if you’re young or chronically ill or disabled. I was practically brushed off, withheld of my medication that I needed to keep my body functioning, and barely looked at. They ran usual tests but other than that? Basically shrugged their shoulders and didn’t look any further. No referral or anything when I was struggling. I switched providers and haven’t been happier since.

Highly recommend
As a healthcare nurse, professional 44 years, I definitely leave Dr. Baker a five star. Very caring not in a rush and if you need a referral he doesn’t hesitate to send you out to a specialist.

Absolute Disdain for Patients
Been a patient of Dr. Baker for 10 months. First off, Dr Baker is both knowledgeable and experienced in his field. Sadly, he is also tired and jaded when it comes to dealing with patients. He has little patience or interest in your medical concerns. Moreover, if your concerns are not clearly written in advance on HIS notes, he will not address them. He prefers to order blood work or exams for you and then reschedule you every 3 months so he can lecture you about the results.... or simply patronize you with why you shouldn't expect to feel better because you are old. Simply put, Dr. Baker should switch to just teaching in a closed classroom filled with clinical students not interested in actual patient care. If he was actually able to help or improve any of my medical concerns within these 4 visits (10 months)then I could accept his other flaws, but that hasn't been the case. . Seen Dr. Baker 4 times so far and have no intention of putting myself through that lev of disdain again.

Glad that I found Dr. Baker
I have been a patient of Dr. Baker at his Cape Coral Elite Health office for two years and he is great. I have never waited more than 5 minutes to see the doctor. The staff was always friendly and nice. I ask questions and he doesn't act disgusted like my previous doctor did. Doctor Baker explains everything very well, and I have recommended several people to see him.

Family Physician
My wife, MIL and I see Dr. Baker. My wife is an ICU Critical Care Nurse and I am a healthcare practice manager. We consider ourselves knowledgeable about the role of primary care. We would both attest to attentive, comprehensive and compassionate care. We've been with Dr. Baker 9 years, are in our sixties and trust his guidance. He's always thorough and engaged. Great Doc.

My husband would give a rating of 10 if allowed.
Dr. Baker is my husband’s physician. He says seeing Dr. Baker reminds him of the practices up north- where if you need medical attention, you don’t have to wait a month. He would refer Dr. Baker to anyone! In fact, my husband likes Dr. Baker so much, I myself have been thinking about switching from my present physician to him!

The BEST!
I felt the need to give my honest opinion, which is a recent one. I really just picked Dr. Keith Baker out originally because I couldn't get insurance and a friend told me they had a sliding scale. He is such a thorough Dr., if he has any question about your health, he will send you for needed tests! With or without insurance! I feel very fortunate to have found him! The staff there is also great! However I will say at their location on South Tamiami Trl. The office staff, really only 1 of them, is so unprofessional, and a liar, I can barely go in that place for something small because it's not worth it for me to see that itch! Everyone else there has been good. I drive from South Fort Myers to North Cape Coral to see Dr. Baker...he is an awesome Dr. who never makes me feel rushed, runs on schedule and is very thorough. His office staff are very kind and professional.

Omg please don't go there. Been going for four years never addressed pre existing conditions but has no problem giving you narcotics you don't need. Today was last straw he literally held my thyroid medication hostage til I went to see him. Still not desire to even bring up preexisting conditions and had no idea that I gave the needed blood work a week earlier. Seems he has no idea about anything that I need a doc for. But if you want narcotics he's your guy. Pathetic oh did find out today that my lumpy thyroid could be a sign of cancer and he did nothing to check it out for four years. Only found out cause I called him out on everything

Worst doctor I've ever encountered. Entire staff is unprofessional and rude. They don't really care about their patients. I wouldn't allow anyone or anyone I love to get him as a doctor. What a nightmare, horrible experience. Beware!

I sat for 2 hours in the office starving on a fast ,for blood work , to finally leaving. Today my wife sat for 45 minutes doing the same thing and they didn't know she was there. She also left. I talked with Jordan, the office manager and he never said he was sorry but made excuses. I said my wife was probably also going to leave the practice and his response was "why don't you do that " . Does this sound like where you would want to go.

I started out at this office with a different physician and got stuck with Dr. Baker. He is uncomfortable to speak with and I was unhappy from the first visit. On my last visit he made a very questionable diagnosis and refused to clearly explain himself. Thankfully I did not follow his completely incorrect medical advice which was proven wrong with testing a few days later. I will not be seeing him again and am searching for a new physician.

This is the worst Dr we have ever been too! He is a DO, NOT MD! Big difference! He had a verbal agreement with a lab that went out of business and we are still getting billed from them. How dare he take on a lab w/o insurance!!!! He ALWAYSwants to take blood draws(8 tubes) for no apparent reason. I believe he should be investigated.
