We saw Dr. Dedhia in April of 2022 with concerns about my sons inability to eat with his mouth closed, breathing from mouth, snoring, speech delays, etc. After looking in his ears, mouth, nose, and reviewing an xray she did not recommend any action. We went to another doctor who did similar things but did recommend adenoid removal. We had his adenoids removed and after not much improvement we went back to CHOP. They scheduled me with Dr. Dedhia again. I basically as a mom felt dumb after leaving her office. Her recommendation was to get a sleep study if we would like but they won't take tonsils out if he's only sleeping poorly during a cold. I asked if there was anything else we could do to look into his issues. Nothing. Long story but I finally ended up at the head of ENT at CHOP. She listens to me, asks a ton of thorough questions, ran a camera to look at his tonsils and don't you know they are HUGE and in his throat. Why in the world does it take me scheduling with 5 doctors to finally find one that does their due diligence.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Dedhia?
Ive been trying to get in contact with her scheduling team for days now to schedule an appointment for my son for surgery. Her scheduling team aren’t very perfessional and doesnt make you feel like your child is important. I have left several messages and even had people ive spoken on the phone with leave messages and ive yet to hear something back. This is ridiculous because my son is in pain and needs this surgery and we’re waiting for something and we have yet to hear anything back!
