Dr. Kaveh Besharat, MD

Dr. Besharat appears to have such a fragile ego that he cannot withstand questions from patients. He did not read my wife's chart, and recommended an unnecessary procedure, then became furious once we started asking questions.

Dr. Besharat claims to be open to listening to the patients' needs, however, this is only the case if they completely align with his direction. When it comes to the prostate and PSA monitoring there are many tests these days that provide direction as to whether you have a high risk for cancer and need to take a biopsy or MRI. In my case the test (an established urine test) indicated there was a ninety percent chance that I did not have cancer or need an MRI or biopsy. I had asked to take a 2nd test (another established test) and was told this would happen in my next appointment. However, when I showed up to the next appointment, I was told I was no longer a patient as I had been dropped. I had not received any letter, text message or call about this (in fact, I had received a text confirming my appointment the day before) and the doctor was unwilling to discuss it at the office. This simply indicates that lack of support this doctor has for his patients.

Poor- office staff is 100 ?? rude and not knowledgeable of the practice . All the drs tolerate this staff for what reason I have no idea .. they need to do awAy with the contract and start fresh !! Totally unfair to the dr’s and the patients !! Stay away until new staff is employed!!

Dr Besharat was excellent in every way!!!

Very closed minded doctor which shows annoyance towards patients that ask questions regarding their well being, Staff is rough and incompetent. Over 20 visits and misdiagnosed me with invasive tests and office visits encounterin severe pain. I left this office and went to another Dr. who cured me 100%.

He won't be confused by the facts. I had four kidney stones,on @ 5mm. He suspected bladder cancer, which I knew was wrong as this was kidney stone #8 (lifetime achievement). Any patient who has had one stone recognizes readily a subsequent stone. I went to another urologist and had surgery yesterday. One contrntious point was trsticular pain that he branded "impossible." I showed him an article from the Mayo Clinic that acknowledges testicular pain.

Dr . Besharat is wonderful . He makes you feel so confident for him to do your surgery. I would recommend him to everyone . He is excellent . Thanks Doc for making me feel so much better.

Was sent as a follow up for an abnormal urine test. Explained my unique situation but Dr. Besharat did not want to consider all factors I explained. Ultimately changed doctors & all issues were resolved.

I was having old people problems, went to see Dr. Besharat. Spent time finding out what my problems were. Had me checked by staff. Provided medicine. Has me back for follow up exams, does thorough checks. Problems went away, sleep well nights.

The office staff failed to tell me that I needed to arrive 30 minutes before my 2:30 appointment to fill out new patient forms and as a result the doctor refused to see me when I arrived. They did not take responsibility and offered no apology. Absolutely unbelievable.

My Father was admitted to Jupiter. had surgery & Besharat called . Not a good call. I live in upstate NY. My Father is in FL. Not a good call. Pop is doing well, but Dr. was NOT GOOD!

The staff is incompetent, I waited 1 hour and 45 min for them to tell me I had to reschedule because they didn't know how to file my insurance , when all they had to do was call blue cross and blue shield.

Excellent physician. Explained the issues clearly. His assistant, Mary, is awesome. Would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a Urologist.

The level of care, kindness and treatment was outstanding. He is a very good physician. He explained everything to me clearly and patiently. His staff is outstanding starting from the front of the office to the back. Mary' his assistant; was professional with a great attitude and a beautiful smile. I love this place and I will never go anywhere else for my urological needs.

Highly recommend Dr. Besharat! He is a very knowledgeable doctor who cares about his patients. My husband has complex medical issues and we were fortunate to get referred to Dr. Besharat shortly after we moved to Florida. He is great about explaining everything to us, answering all of our questions and working with our challenges. We also have had really positive experiences with the whole office team. Excellent in every way!

I wouldn't wish kidney stones on my worse enemy, but if you do have them, I hope you are lucky enough to have Dr. Besharat as your physician. He is such a caring person, and when you are his patient, you will feel like you are the most important person he cares for. Both Dr. Besharat and Dr. Caruso are amazing. They take great care of you, and actually return calls right away if you have a problem. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Their office staff is equally exceptional!
