Telehealth
my husband saw Dr. San after a sleep study found he has sleep apnea. Correction, he did not SEE Dr. San, he had a telehealth visit. Dr. San did not see fit to examine my husband to determine what type of sleep apnea he has or what physiological issues may be underlying the sleep apnea. He was referred to Vanderbilt DME company Carefluent for the CPAP machine, but the machine has not reduced the episodes of sleep apnea, and it leaks, so it is not the correct mask and machine combination. During 6 months of unsuccessful treatment, my husband tried to call Dr. San numerous times. But Dr Adam does not deign to speak with or examine him so he has only interacted with physicians assistants who have been nice but have not been able to resolve the issues, and my husband’s episodes have not diminished. Dr. San seems uninterested in his patients and their welfare. This is counter to every other experience we have had with Vanderbilt physicians. Do not use him!
