No bedside manner. Uncaring- Inhumane- Cold
I drove from Northern Nevada to see Dr. Jeans for my sleep apnea. I didn’t realize that my phone moved all of my appointments to an hour ahead. When I showed up an hr after my appt. the secretary was so kind to me. Even though she had a hard time walking she still went around the corner to ask Dr. Jeans if she could fit me in at some point since I had traveled 8 hrs to get here. I was able to hear Jeans voice loud and upset saying everyone else can make it to their appointment on time and she didn’t care where I had traveled from and she wasn’t going to try to make any exception even though it was an honest mistake. Everyone in the lobby could hear her yelling at the poor receptionist who was only trying to make sure I could get into breathe. The way she spoke about me, “ her potential new patient” made me re-think if I wanted someone this uncaring, cold, and inhumane as my doctor. I realized she had not one compassionate bone in her body. A gross representation of a doctor.
