Dr. Kathryn Lawrence, MD

Our family of 5 have been seeing Dr Lawrence for 4 years. She is excellent - extremely knowledgeable, professional and insightful. We are very happy she is our healthcare professional.

I saw Dr. Lawrence as a new patient (new to the state) for my physical. She took a total of 15 minutes with me! All she asked was if I wanted all of my prescriptions renewed. There was no real talk of anything else. I later asked for a preventative test that my husband's Dr. recommended for him based on his age (he's 2.5 years younger than me). She said I didn't need it. I said I wanted the test (I was paying out-of-pocket) so she reluctantly agreed. Turned out I had issues that required follow-up and continued watching! Also, I signed forms at the front desk saying I would discuss nothing outside of my physical or I would be charged for an office visit. I signed and was still charged for an office visit! I absolutely discussed nothing outside of my prescriptions so was appalled when I received the bill. I asked for them to revise it and they won't. I will be changing Drs.

I saw this doctor for 4 years when I was a teenager/young adult. She came across as uncaring and unhelpful. I experienced body shaming and when I would try to broach subjects such as my mental health, she would say "I don't help with that" and offered 0 referrals or other support. Gyno issues were a nightmare with her.

DON'T GO TO THIS "DOCTOR". SHE IS THE MOST INCOMPETENT AND UNPROFESSIONAL MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL I'VE EVER MET.

Incompetent or uncaring or both....zero follow up and condescending.....second worst dr that I have ever seen, I wouldn’t recommend her to my worst enemy

Questions sent to Dr. Lawrence through the health app are answered within a day! I am very pleased with her current knowledge of new procefures.

Lucky to have found a great doctor in Charlotte!
