Dr. Kathryn Crum, MD

Dr. Crum is very professional & efficient. I've had numerous orthopedic Dr.'s & she is one of the best.

I went to see Dr. Crum based upon her reviews and my prior experience with this practice. She was GREAT! X-rays were taken prior to the visit and she was very attentive to how I described my issues (hip and thigh pain). She had me do various “stretches” and combined with the X-rays quickly was able to diagnose my problem and assure me that no surgery was required. She gave me a treatment plan which I have been following faithfully and my issues had been steadily improving. We have a follow scheduled in two months to gauge improvement. I highly recommend Dr Crum!

The best

Dr. Crum operated on my mother on January 19, 2021 and it has totally changed her life for the worst. My mother's leg is still swollen and she is still not able to walk properly without a cane. We have had several follow up appointments with Dr. Crum but she just states everyone heals differently and keeps referring my mother to a pain management clinic rather than trying to determine if her body is rejecting the hip or anything else. We have asked for CT Scans or an MRI of the hip which she finally ordered at CT Scan on July 5, 2022. The CT Scan was completed and results were ready by July 8, 2022 and we have been calling and calling this office to get a follow up appointment to revew the results and the office has not responded. I am writing this review with hopes that someone in the office will actually care and return our calls so my mother can find out what is going on. This has changed her whole life for the worst and this is after making a full recovery from brain surgery back

After being in a car accident last year, I needed another surgery. Dr Crum was great at explaining everything going into the procedure, and the procedure itself was amazingly easy to recover from! I have no bad experiences with her or the surgery center she works with, and now I'm walking better then I thought I could!

The x-rays and exam went much better than I expected. Dr. Crum has a nice way about her.

Tried one approach to resolve the problem without much success so moving to next step. I like starting simple then moving to next phase as needed.

Dr. Crum patiently answered all of my questions and explained things in a clear, understandable way. She is friendly and professional. I highly recommend.

Dr Kathryn Crum saw me in her office on Tuesday. She told me to go straight to the ER and if they couldn't do the operation that she would be there in the morning and would take care of me then. They couldn't and she did what she said, and I was on my feet that day, walked a lap the next, and came home the next! She's WONDERWOMAN!

I will tell you without a shadow of a doubt that doctor crum is an awesome doctor and surgeon and after 19 days of having a hip replacement I feel absolutely great I did hug Dr crum when I went to see her this week and told her myself how awesome she is I have never felt that good about a visit or any surgery on me before or in my past thank you again doctor crum

I WENT WITH MY FIANCEE ON HER FIRST VISIT TO SEE DR KATHRYN CRUM. I HAVE HAD A LUMBAR SPINAL FUSION, BOTH TNR, AND R/HIP REPLACE,MENT AS WELL AS THE LARGE JOINTS OF BOTH GREAT TOES REMOVED AND THE TOES SCREWED BACK ON MY FEET. I HAVE NEVER SEEN A DOCTOR WHO WAS MORE PROFESSIONAL, THOROUGH, AND COMPASSIONATE. SHE EXPLAINED HER FINDINGS, OPTIONS OF TREATMENT, AND EXPECTATIONS OF RESULTS. SHE IS A GODSEND TO THOSE WITH JOINT PAIN!!!

Very personable, very approachable, and very easy to understand. Speaks in terms that regular "non doctor" people can understand.

If I could leave a zero I would. This happens to be the most unprofessional physician I have ever heard of. Over miscommunication she sent my father out of her office and fired him as a patient. All she had to do was listen and speak to him instead of sending the nurse to play telephone with him. And as someone who works in healthcare, I have seen physicians fire patients but with so much respect and care. These physicians took time to find their fired patients another doctor for them to see. “Dr.” Crum didn’t even have the decency to speak to my father to understand the situation.

The visit was no problem. Dr Crum was thorough and efficient the staff very friendly. There was quite a long wait once I got in the room to wait for Dr Crum but that is often expected. I’m not giving a full stars rating only because I’ve only been there once. Otherwise, I do feel like I can’t trust her and her staff.

Misdiagnosed need for bilateral hip replacements.

The doctor was so helpful as I had a previous surgery that the surgeon never explained anything even at a follow up appointment. I was at my wits end after 5 months until I found Dr. Crum. In a calming manner she answered my questions, gave me directions, and now has me on my way to healing the many months of extreme pain. The other amazing thing about the office is the fact that the staff was efficient, caring, respectful and the best I have ever encountered.
