Excellent Podiatrist
I have had the pleasure of knowing Dr. McCarty and her associates for over 20 years. I have always found her to be friendly, caring, honest and professional. I trust her 100%, I recently had foot surgery and could think of no other doctor that I would trust to do the surgery than Dr. McCarty. McCarty performed an excellent skilled surgery; I am completely happy and satisfied. I would highly recommend Dr. McCarty! The Dr. McCarty and Dr. Holmes and associates Podiatrist and Orthopedic group as the best in the area and top in Texas.

Awesome service
The best podiatrist in San Antonio, very knowledgeable. Dr McCarty spent a great amount of time explaining to me what my concerns were regarding my issue, great bedside manners. Staff is very friendly, I was made aware of what my responsibility $ for my visit was and what insurance covered. I would recommend Dr Mccarty a million times !!

OVERCHARGES STAY AWAY
I visited the doctor due to an accidental injury and was charged $154 for 4 pieces of medical tape. When I asked why it was so expensive I was told that is the most the insurance would allow. I had to pay a deductible on that ($75) for 4 pieces of medical tape and they say nothing wrong with that line of logic. Dr. McCarthy was there for that conversation and said this wasn't her expertise and ran away...really? Isn't it YOUR practice? This isn't the first time I left their office due to their insatiable thirst for gigging people. STOP ENABLING doctors that scam the system and cheat people out of their money!

Went to Dr. McCarty after 2+ years of being in pain (I’m Stubborn). I finally had enough. After a diagnosis of ligament damage at the ball of my foot, I received injections, taping my foot a certain way and wearing a boot everyday for a month. I am now pain free and kick myself everyday for not getting it checked out later. She’s nice, informative and definitely recommend if your having any type of foot pain!

Dr. Mccarty is the Best! For a long time I was having trouble with my right foot! Dr Mccarty fixed my foot after seeing her, even though it took me a long time to decide to get it fixed. Dr Mccarty was very upfront of what she was going to do during the surgery. Before I had the surgery, Dr Mccarty was consider about the flow of my blood in my foot, she sent me to a vascular Dr and the diagnosis was I had blockages in both legs. I had surgery on them. To me, Dr McCarty SAVED my life. I would not have know this, if Dr Mcarty hadn't sent me to the vascular Dr. Dr. Mccarty is a very caring Doctor. She really cares about her patients. I definitely would refer her to my Family and Friends! AWESOME DOCTOR!

Dr. McCarty was knowledgeable, patient and supportive when diagnosing and treating my foot injury. I was glad on my initial visit that the office had their own x-ray machines and right away took x-rays after gathering medical information. Dr. McCarty showed the same patience and support on the follow-up visit, and I was seen timely.

If you need a podiatrist, find a different doctor! Saw "Doctor" McCarty in regards to pain in one foot when putting weight on it. After several - expensive - diagnostics I was told I had bone spurs which required surgery. Decided to get a second opinion - when I called her office to get my x-ray results, I was informed by her staff that if I sought a second opinion with another doctor they would no longer see me as a patient! That made up my mind! Got that second opinion, and it was a stress fracture. A few weeks rest on the foot, and I was back to normal.

Dr. McCarty is fantastic....she clearly knows the foot and ankle inside and out.. I was really worried that I may need surgery but fortunately she treated me and my foot has healed quicker than expected. I did have to wait a little but she spent extra time with me and didn't appear rushed. I have been to other podiatrists and I would suggest Dr. McCarty over anyone.

Dr McCarty is very thorough with her exam and explains the procedure perfectly. She has operated on both of my feet for bunions and hammertoes. Her staff is very knowledgeable, office is clean, and surgeries at Christus Santa Rosa is fantastic.
