Dr. Kathleen Spencer, DO

I am a new patient in 2024 and Dr. Spencer has been great, spenft a lot of time understanding my history and concerns, spending a lot of time explaining options. She has been very responsive as well.

Kind, friendly, and professional.

I just established care here with Dr. Spencer. So far, she's been amazing. I saw her for the established care appointment, which most doctors want to do the bare minimum, but she basically went ahead and did the equivalent of a yearly physical. We're doing an "official" physical in about a month. She was patient and thorough - and she shared some information with me related to my spine issues that no other doctor has ever brought to my attention. Then, I got sick. I read all the reviews about how people couldn't get a same day appointment. Balderdash! The central scheduling couldn't on their own - but the ladies there got ahold of the actual Lowry office and I got in same day. And, again, Dr. Spencer went above and beyond and made sure I didn't go into the weekend without the means to get ahead of what I had going on, if it was needed. I like doctors who also trust that we, as patients, have some good sense too and it's proving to be a real partnership, so far.

Dr. Spencer is amazing. She always takes the time to listen and is very thorough with my concerns.

The provider canceled my appointment at the time I was scheduled for the appointment and already in the waiting room because they never reached out to me AT ALL to fill out some mysterious “mandatory” paperwork they never sent to me. They did not apologize for the miscommunication or try to remedy the situation at all. They simply said that they would “made a note” and asked me to reschedule for over a week away. I specifically took time out of my schedule to attend this appointment and my needs were extremely urgent and time sensitive, which I communicated with them profusely about and they didn’t care all. I will never be using this service again and will make sure everyone I know and anyone who can read a review doesn’t either. The most apathetic and unprofessional experience I’ve ever had. I now will likely have serious medical implications because I was I refused to be seen for my appointment due to the provider’s negligence. Ridiculously incompetent and so disappointing.

She is very caring. She is the most intelligent physician I've ever had. She left and I'm super sad. Miss you Dr. Spencer.

Extremely rude! For health reasons, had bariatric surgery done and she is no longer willing to care for me as my primary physician. Did not assist me in referrals required for clearances. My insurance approved me and didn't have to have clearance from her. She is trying to make me feel ashamed, like I took the easy way out. She had made it very clear with several calls telling me she will not be my provider any longer! My first visit after surgery with her, she scolded me like a child telling me I disappointed her. Not a caring bone in her body, horrible bed side manner. Who does she think she is???
