Dr. Kathleen Reinhart, DO

I must admit that we only went once but that was enough. We'd just moved and needed to become established with a pediatrician before school started. My child is on the spectrum so I discussed this with office staff beforehand. They must double book because we waited nearly an hour in an exam room, at which point my child was in full meltdown. The doctor finally opened the door angrily, asking if there was a problem. Seriously? When I repeated the information I'd ALREADY given her staff, she left the room and started making loud phone calls from the reception desk (not her office), adjacent to a full waiting room. Having spent two minutes with us, she was describing my child's behavior and inquiring about services. I had no idea who she was even talking to. I didn't ask her to do this, I'd already started that process but it kept us waiting even LONGER. Her attitude and manner are obnoxious. I wouldn't recommend this practice to anyone. We've since found a great practice, thankfully.

She's absolutely rude. My daughter has an allergy to milk protein and she made us try every. Single. Formula. She could clearly see my child was uncomfortable and did not care. She refused to do anything for us. When we asked for a prescription to be written for insurance, that insurance asked for, for a special formula she needed she refused to write it because "she didn't have an allergy". So we purchased out of pocket for the formula and never had an issue. Still going to say she's not allergic? Dr. Reinhart is a joke and like I said RUDE.

Very poor office staff communication. Improper billing of services, failure to inform patients of fees or insurance information until they try to bill you outrageous fees 6 months later w a collection letter. Will never go here again, staff unwilling to understand basic insurance knowledge and communicate this to patients. Worked in the medical field for 20 years and am fully knowledgeable in insurance and we always strive to not only keep our patients informed but happy as well, they do not.
