Dr. Kathleen Melendez, MD

Dr. Melendez is a liar. I spent $45 through Teladoc for a less than 10 minute conversation for her to tell me that I would receive a referral from Teladoc within 24 hours and never did. She was not actively listening to me as I was sharing my symptoms and what I am going through and for me to spend that much money for just a quick call and then for her to LIE and say I would receive a referral when I never did is unacceptable on so many levels. I spent all day on the phone with Teladoc just for them to tell me that they don’t actually do referrals. Will never use that service again and wouldn’t recommend this doctor as she is a liar and does not care about providing actual medical attention.

Dr. Melendez was thorough and spent an unusually long period of time helping me with my problem. I was in a terrible bicycle accident with multiple fractures of my face resulting in neuropathy. I sustained a spinal cord injury. There are a host of problems that you deal with after an accident like this. Doctor Melendez spend nearly an hour with me the first time we met to coordinate all the moving parts of my care with specialists. I am a veterinarian so I know when a doctor is good and I I am a veterinarian so I know when a doctor is good and I am a veterinarian so I know a good practitioner when I see one. Doctor Melendez is top-notch and I highly recommend she and her entire staff. As always Physicians Group are a group of caring individuals that have been taken care of me for 20 years

She is nice, but when I went in as a new patient, she did not look at a spot on my leg that I was concerned about, rather, she discounted it without even looking, saying it is normal. In addition, the office personnel were rude, arguing with me about where I obtained my last blood work, and to top it all, they charged me for drug and alcohol consultation, which i never asked for, nor received for that matter...just to make a little extra money I suppose. Terrible practice all around, and now I have to wait a year for my physical, unless I will pay out of pocket...just terrible. There are other examples as well, for why I am leaving this poor review, in order to help others anticipate what they may experience.

She leaves her Norwalk office and doesn’t let patients know? My pharmasist contacted the office multiple times for Rx refill with no response. When I called office they said she moved. Still no Rx refill from PA running office. What is going on???
