9cm endometrioma
I went to Dr. Massop for lower abdominal pain. Having a long endometriosis I knew that was likely the cause of my symptoms. She ordered an ultrasound an I had a 9cm endometrioma. Her treatment plan was to come back in 2-3 months to see if it had gotten better. Endometriomas don't resolve on their own. They weren't able to get me a surgical consult (at my request) for 9 weeks. The fact she wanted to do nothing is upsetting and the fact they couldn't get me a consult for over two months is unacceptable. I will be finding a new provider.

She was very caring and compassionate about me. She was gentle and told me what she was going to do before doing it. With a history of abuse, she was respectful and comforting.
