Dr. Kathleen Keating, DO

Dr Kathleen Keating is phenomenal! The best OB GYN in Boise. She is very knowledgeable, extremely patient and listens to you and gives you time. She knew that since it was my first kid, you need to be patient and give your body the time during labor and not rush into C section unnecessarily and she made sure I had a vaginal birth..when most doctors rush to C sections to save time..It was my first delivery and both Dr Kathleen and nurse Marjie were God sent I feel. Had the best experience with them. I moved out of Boise to Austin now and I really miss having her as my OB GYN.

Dr. Keating has been my OBGYN for almost 10 years. She is so knowledgeable and treats you like you’re her best friend that she’s missed. She truly is inspiring make you make reproductive health a priority. Dr. Keating and Marjorie are amazing.

Dr. Keating and her nurse Margie are fantastic. She took care of me through both my pregnancies and my second one was not an easy pregnancy. She did both c-sections for me. She really understood my concerns and my life and provided information to me in a way that was realistic and personalized. She could tell it to me in a way that I needed to hear it. They always followed up by phone when I called with concerns or to give me test results. I trust her implicitly. She also worked well with my other doctors and they communicated without me needing to go and back forth between them.

I absolutely adore Dr. Keating and her nurse Marj, she was my doctor for both my babies and is fantastic. She is never rushed during visits, listens to all concerns and is very thorough in answer any questions and always uses humor to keep the process fun and exciting. She is a great doctor for a first time mom. She also is very insistent in not rushing the body, which I really appreciated having 80% of my friends deliver via c-sections. Both my kids were delivered vaginally and both births were incredible. My kids are 3 and 2 now and I miss her! I’d recommend her to anyone!

Dr. Keating is phenomenal she’s is literally Gods work for pregnancy. She has been with me for 7 years. I’m so grateful to have her as my OBGYN especially since I’m high risk. She always hears me out, never rushes me, gives me multiple treatment options, recommends what’s best for me, and most of all she’s super loving. I have had over 10 miscarriages and she has been there to support me and help ease the pain. She always focuses on what is best for me and the baby. She has made all of them less crucial when they are so hard. Marjie is also the best nurse in the world she for sure is Dr. Keating’s sidekick and gets it all done fast or in a timely manner. These ladies are the BEST I really recommend them!

Dr. Keating has been my doctor for the last 3 pregnancies. Her and the office are amazing. She is patient and knowledgable during labor and birth. The prenatal visits are quick and to the point. She respects the patients wishes and practices very safe prenatal/birth care. My daughter also delivered with her and was spared having a C-section due to Dr. Keating's patience and expertise. My own last birth was a c-section due to transverse baby at 37 weeks. She is also an amazing surgeon.

I was beyond nervous when I found out I was pregnant let alone with twins. From our first appointment, Dr Keating and Margie (her amazing sidekick aka Nurse), let us know there was a chance of losing one, which we did. Dr Keating was out of the country but as soon as she got back she called me. I developed severe Preeclampsia and ended up delivering at 33 weeks with a c section. I could not have done it with out Dr Keating and Margie. These two women were phenomenal during this difficult pregnancy and helped me deliver a happy and healthy baby girl. Amazing bedside manner, never rushed me on my millions of questions, and they both have a great sense of humor. I could not recommend them enough. My boyfriend feels the same way about both of them!

Dr. Keating is an amazing doctor. This was my husband and I’s first baby, and we could not be happier with the level of comfortability we had with her. I had never had a surgery, and definitely never felt comfortable in a doctor’s office before. As soon as you go to Dr. Keating’s office, you are greeted by an AMAZING nurse (Margie) who definitely helps me to feel at ease. The delivery and pregnancy as a whole went very smooth, and I would not want any other doctor on my next pregnancy.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience delivering my first baby with Dr. Keating! Her and her nurse Marjorie were so sweet through my whole pregnancy. Dr. Keating has a funny sense of humor that makes you feel at ease while being very knowledgeable and answered all my questions, showing lots of experience! So happy for both Kathleen and Marjorie and couldn't have been happier with how my first birth went!

I loved working with Dr. Keating and her nurse Marjie. They were an awesome team who held me together through a really rough pregnancy. My delivery was better than I had expected and so appreciated her calm demeanor while in child birth. Excellent care and doctor! Very straightforward and honest. Doesn't beat around the bush. She's helped me hang on to a pregnancy I thought I would lose my mind over. Worth every penny.

My Husband and I absolutely love her! After having a terrible experience with our first child and had a lot of hesitation and concerns she sat and discussed everyone of them. She never made us feel like our concerns we not valid. She opened us to other options that we didnt realize we had . She helped me have a successful VBAC. I cant thank her enough.

Dr Keating was AMAZING! I recommend her to anyone! She really cared about me and my baby. I went into labor at 32 weeks; Dr Keating was there to support us every step of the way. With her help we were able to put off labor until 39 weeks!!! Also, her nurse is amazing! Shes so sweet and kind. I love them both! With any doctors visit I book my appointments in the morning as I know appointments usually go longer than expected with no fault from the doctor. The morning appointments had no wait time.

Dr. Keating is an amazing doctor! As a first time mom/first pregnancy, she addressed all of my concerns with ease and never made me feel like my questions were a waste of her time or dumb. She has a wonderful bedside manner and I won't have my babies with any other doctor!

My first two visits with Dr. Keeting were pleasant and I was pleased to have found her. Unfortunately my third time was very different. She walked in talking because she had already decided that I was going to get the Mirena IUD. I told her (for the third time) that I have deeply considered this and feel that it's not for me. She then told me that I couldn't make the Novasure appointment until my husband had a scheduled vasectomy. Nothing to do with insurance and my word was not good enough.

Dr. Keating is caring, intelligent, skilled, and has a great sense of humor, which made my pregnancy and delivery that much better! I had a higher risk pregnancy and she was able to keep me grounded while addressing my concerns. Thanks to her expertise, my twins came into this world healthy and happy. I highly recommend Dr. Keating!

AMAZING!! I met with Dr. Keating for the first time as a surgical consult. I consider myself to have hit the jackpot. Exactly what I want in a physician. Friendly, open, listened, clear about my condition, and presented all viable options for me to consider. Meticulous in her pre-surgical process. Bedside manner is warm and funny. Her skill set is the only explanation for my speedy recovery after an open-abdominal hysterectomy. 7-8 days and back tn my feet (except the lift restrictions)
