Felt rushed and dismissed

I visited Dr. Gotzmann as a terrified 16 year old with intense, unexplained pain in my vaginal area. The visit was so rushed that I barely got to tell her what was going on with me, she read my charts then immediately moved to inserting a speculum (which I had not experienced before that day). She did not explain anything that she did. When I began crying in pain, she ignored both that and my request for her to stop. At the conclusion of our less than 10 minute appointment, she told me that I was too young to understand my body and that I would grow out of any pain I had. Not to mention—she saw in my charts that I was a victim, and had the most unfeeling reaction that a provider has had to date. I'm 20 now and still dealing with it. Came back just to say, she should've done her job back then.

Very cold, rush me out. I did not feel comfortable at all. Don’t recommend her.

Saw her today, I was in so much pain. I was doubled over crying and vomiting from it. I’ve had issues over the last few months and the last doctor I had seen said that I might have fibroids when I went today, she Was extremely dismissive and rushed. She didn’t recommend an exam. She asked me if I wanted an exam to which I replied. I think that’s something that should be done when these type of symptoms are happening. Instead of giving me an actual pelvic exam, she inserted the speculum into me so quickly that when she twisted it, she caught my leg in it and when I kept telling her that she was pinching my skin in it, she kept telling me to just wait and tried to continue on with what she was doing. She inserted the speculum ,looked at my cervix, closed and took it out and said OK I’m done. I asked her why she didn’t check for fibroids and she said she didn’t think I had them then gave me an order to get a US to check for fibroids. She also told me hormones can’t be checked. She lied

When I found out that my baby was no longer alive she told me I was the third patient that day. Then proceeded to tell me her own story as if mine wasn't traumatizing enough. Was very cold. Rushed my appt. Luckily I didn't have her for my procedure
