Dr. Kathleen French, MD

In 1970 she performed surgery on a disk in my lower back. The result was that I went from living with continuous terrible sciatic pain to being pain free. Now, 34 years later I still have not had a reoccurrence.

My daughter was born with a hematoma pressing on her brain, which was causing her to have severe convulsions. Although that was now 18 years ago, it is because of Dr. French that my daughter is alive and living a normal, healthy life. I have and will recommend her to anyone that I come in contact with. I am eternally grateful for skills and professionalism of Dr. French.

She did a poor job fixing a herniated disk in my lumbar area, what should have been an easy proceedure kept me in the hospital for 8 days, the pain was incredible, when I complained about the pain during a follow up visit she said "you should be fine" and refused to give me anymore pain medication, wouldn't order a follow up MRI or CT scan, here it is 4 years later and I'm facing another surgery, she should retire. In retrospect I should have sued her.

Dr. French performed an anterior cervical fusion (C3 to C7) and corpectomy (@C6). The surgical procedure was explained in detail beforehand as was the expected course of the recovery. Everything went exactly as planned and I recovered more rapidly that anyone, including two other neurosurgeons, anticipated. It was an aggressive approach, but served me very well and avoided a second surgery to complete the task. She also has a cool sense of humor, which I found very endearing. She's great!

Dr. French is a highly skilled Neurosurgeon. She operated on my back for Spinal Stenosis in early Nov as I was suffering from burning leg pains resulting from nerve compression. The pains are gone and now 7 weeks later I feel great. If you have a need for spinal fusion or any type of spine-related surgery look no further then Dr. French. She's been practicing for close to 30 years and her skills are excellent.
