Words can't describe
I am very disappointed with Dr. Cassin and the radiology department. They failed to detect my wife's 4-centimeter tumor in her left breast, even though it was palpable by hand. The mammograms also missed it. If it had been caught earlier, it could have been stage 0 or stage 1 instead of stage 2B. This oversight led to extensive surgeries and treatments, lasting from 2015-2019. My wife passed December 4, 2023 at the age of 49. I have lost confidence in South County Hospital yrs ago.

I am really not a fan of Dr. Cassin. I went to her for several years because she came so highly recommended. She may be a good doctor if you have serious issues or are pregnant. I don't know. But for me, as a young and single sexually active adult, all she did was talk down to me, lecture me, and make me feel embarrassed or ashamed when I was honest about having a new sexual partner and wanted to get tested to be safe, for example. Or, about not using condoms WITH MY SERIOUS BOYFRIEND of many years (when I started going to her- before I was single...) when we were each other's only partners, AND I had an IUD for birth control!!! I think that's pretty ridiculous. Other times, when I went to her for minor problems, she would just generally always have an attitude of "You're dumb, and you're wasting my precious time," anytime I would ask a few questions after her exam. No, I would definitely not recommend her to anyone.

I've been a patient of Dr. Cassin's for over 25 years. She delivered my daughter (c-sect) & performed my hysterectomy. My daughter is now her patient as w. I highly recommend Dr. Cassin. I only wish she could be my physician for everything. Recently I've experienced nothing but incompetence with a neurologist I've been seeing for 2 years. This unpleasant experience has made me appreciate even more the quality health care Dr. Cassin has provided me over the years.

Dr. Cassin was referred to me by a friend when I moved to RI and I have been a patient of hers for the past 6 years. I trust her completely and always feel I am in great hands. She is thoughtful, respectful, compassionate, and caring. She is easy to talk with and is a great listener. I highly recommend her.
