Great experience
Doc Kouvelis was incredible, truly. These people saying she isn’t must not understand the full picture. Doc isn’t ever gonna sugar coat anything, it’s just that simple. I’ve been to other doctors who try to “soften the blow” but that was not the case here. In fact, the previous doctors I had been seeing were telling me what I wanted to hear instead of what I needed to hear. Doc K is also very passionate, and you will be able to tell as soon as she walks in the room.

Best surgeon in the area
Dr Kouvelis has treated my son and my husband from cyst removal, hemorrhoid surgery and melanoma removal. She is professional, understanding an expert in her field! I highly recommend her!

Zero Compassion and Empathy. Downright Rude.
If you want to see someone who will not listen, interrupt you, make assumptions, and start off a message to you with, “First of all…” Then this so called doc is for you. She is not compassionate. Not kind. And has ZERO empathy.

Don’t see this surgeon.
She is rude & doesn’t listen she constantly interrupts while trying to answer her questions! I would never recommend her.She never examined me and insisted that that diagnosis that was on the CT was incorrect!

Referred to for ongoing care for some very concerning cancer related health issues found after surgery. She doesn't take time to discuss patient fears or answer questions related to the possible spread of cancerous cells.. Merely says, "go see that type of doctor" when her medical knowledge would tell her whether it could've spread or did spread from somewhere else... When discussing possible cancerous issues, you think she'd be a little more empathetic and willing to help allay patient's fears.

She was knowledgeable but she avoided my real symptoms and leaned on her GI specialty. When she finally ordered ct scan for me, she wasted my money by not including necessary treatments making it worthless to anyone and I'm still paying that bill for no reason. Lastly her office won't get back to you for weeks after. Find a new doctor.
